Cross Rivers State 1st Lady Dr Linda Ayade, Sunny Nneji, NAFDAC Officials,Others Attend PZ Cussons Global Handwashing Day Event

Premier Cool and Carex, in conjunction with PZ Cussons Foundation and Concern Universal, recently hosted the biggest Global Handwashing Day event in Nigeria called The CareX Factor. 





The  campaign is held annually and aims to educate people on the importance of handwashing, as well as highlight different kinds of diseases that can be contacted when handwashing is not a habit.

The event, which was held at the MUSON centre, Onikan Lagos on Saturday 15th November, was packed with over 200 students from 15 secondary schools in Lagos. A major highlight was the music competition in which students had to do their own rendition or choreograph the theme song for the Global Handwashing Day. 




The winning school, Wells Spring College, Omole Phase 2, performed an amazing rendition of the “Wash our Hand O” song.

With the super talented Koffi as its host, the event was graced with several dignitaries. Some of which were: The First Lady of Cross River state, Dr Linda Ayade, Representative of the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Mrs. Solarin Titilayo, popular Nigerian musician,  Sunny Nneji, who gave a stunning performance, Managing Director, Family Care,  PZ Cussons Nigeria,  Mr Alex Goma, National Coordinator, (WSSCC) Nigeria, Mrs. Priscilla Acharya, Director General Cross River State Primary Health Care Development Agency, Dr. Betta Edu, Director, SON Engr (Mrs.) Ayeni, Honorable Commissioner of Youth and Sport, Lagos State, Mr Lanre Rufai, Country Manager, Concern Universal,Tim Connell as well as some NAFDAC officials.
