EFCC Grants Reuben Abati Bail

After being detained for about a week, the EFCC yesterday, Thursday, granted bail to former Presidential Spokesman, Dr. Reuben Abati.

But Abati would have to drop his International Passport and produce a surety of not below Level 16 in the Civil Service as part of the conditions for his release from the anti-graft agency’s custody.
While Abati was preparing to go home, the EFCC got a warrant to further detain former FCT Minister, Bala Mohammed.

  5. Was it up to a week he was arrested? Wao didn't know this. Anyway let me rant small.

Ehn I know I rejoiced when we discovered that we can now load more comments once it hits 200. But somehow, I find it stressful and I've gone back to the old ways of reading more comments. Reason being that once I press on load more, it brings the comments in bits and takes reading back several batches, hence I have to keep scrolling down to catch up. I beg the thing just tire me. End of rants.

    OK bye

This your "okbye" cracks me up all the time.

    2. Well, even though it can be tiring, it's better as you get to read the replies and not have disjointed replies appear.
Once a page is over 200, say 400, I click on the 'load more' button and once it has loaded, go down and repeat, till all has loaded, then I proceed to read comments, although I do wish the comments all load at once.
I didn't know I had your 'ok bye' subconsciously ingrained till I nearly typed it at the end of a piece on NL. I stopped myself just in time,

  8. EFCC is now police station?
They arrest. Detain, uphold et al.
That nation where theif they catch thief. And thief they judge thief.
Like I always argue that we have no law let alone her supremacy coming to bear. To me EFCC is just a puppet pulled and played to the tune of any political . If the administrator. If the judiciary is compromised, what can the few innocent Nigerians do?
I really wish professor Jega is still the INEC chairman. This thing that the INEC is doing by declaring Jimoh Ibrahim as the PDP candidate for Ondo state is bullshit. Which court rules over that? Is it the same judiciary that 70% past and present have been compromised? The judge that ruled that Jimoh Ibrahim should be the PDP candidate is a good victim for EFCC to go after. I can bet it, he has been paid.

If Ondo state people should vote for Jimoh that means they are not the state of learned minds as widely acclaimed. This is a man who has fleets of companies that did not only come crashing but owes most of his staff who were laid off(this happens before recession time oo) . This is a man with liquidated debts in banks. A man who can not lead and sustain his company is no candidate for governorship.

U cannot rule companies and sustain it? How will you now rule a state?

We need leaders with good background. Not "already made failures" if they will not allow youths to rule, then youths should decide not to allow failures who are not even quarter intelligent than you rule over you.
It is a disaster when a dumb mind rule over a state of intelligent minds.

I wish there's an agency that does background check up on aspiring leaders and publish it out for the world. I wish there's a news dailies that complies the past activities of leaders and make it known to the world. And allow people to decide if they are fit for a post or not.

    May God help this nation
    God bless Nigeria
