Labour Room Drama 79

See Drama!!!

Yayyyyy uh it's me again .so i have finally gotten the time to send in my LRD *winks
I am the BV that sent in a story in this link below

At my first scan at 24 weeks Lil champ was standing. I panicked a little but I was assured he would still flip with time. 30 weeks scan was still breech. I began to panic as I was briefed for CS. How will I get my six packs back? Na so my Shakara wan end? Na wa oh.

These were the thoughts running through my mind so anyways around 32 weeks I went to a more expensive hospital to register for antenatal and get their opinion also hoping they could manually turn the baby or maybe perform some miracle.  In fact they just booked me for CS at 37 weeks.

They said madam come tomorrow evening for the operation. .your baby is lying longitudinal obliquely.  In my mind I say nor be me and una.  400K- 450K  for CS here, in this Buhari era Abeg oh. that is even equivalent to a plot of land in my village.

I told them sorry I can't come tomorrow oh my leave has not been approved. I quickly ran to my former hospital where CS is just under 200K and the doctor had agreed to resort to CS only if the baby was too tired to come out with leg.

So around 4am at exactly 39 weeks and 4 days I started feeling  tiny contractions.  I called my doctor around 8 am he said I should wait till it becomes rapid. I bathed, ate (I wasn't told not to) dressed up , painted my nails and started sleeping oh. My sister's call woke me around 1 pm that what was I doing? I Said me I am sleeping oh. She said has the contractions stopped?
I said "I don't think so , sleep carried me so I slept." Oya what are you waiting for na, kuku go to the hospital what is the need of undergoing labor when you will still do the operation . I said ok.

Quickly called my husband (he went to work earlier) and on the way to the hospital my water burst whoooooooossssh! I entered the doctors office " doctor my water has burst oh" he now told a nurse to take me to labor room. I quickly undressed and tied wrapper on my chest and laid on the bed. Doctor came in all robed and gloved up, parted my legs and without informing me so that I ready my mind, just pushed his hand with force into my vagina.  "Whoa!" I screamed.

"What are you doing there? Is it not CS we are doing again? Shuo!"
He said he was checking the position of the baby.  Then he called the second doctor to come and chook hand too and confirm.  (Maybe these doctors gain something by shook shook shook hand inside woman mtchewww).

They now said " she is fully dilated but the baby is coming out with one leg, vagina delivery is not possible.... (...as if they did not know before and just wanted to chook hand)....Prepare the theatre for operation and call the husband to come and sign consent".

I didn't even look at them again. The young nurses came, shaved me, fixed catheter (another serious pain oh) fixed a drip in my hand then wheeled me to the theatre. I climbed the bed. They removed my wrapper.I was completely naked. In my mind,  I say na wa oh na so these people wan scope my full body just to operate on stomach?  Don't they watch Dr90210?

The doctor now cleaned my stomach with a swab of cotton wool soaked in dettol I think, then repeated the process with methylated spirit at this point my eyes were open Koro Koro oh (in my mind I was like won't this people put me to sleep,? I don't have the presence of mind to watch them slice my stomach oh. What if I feel the pains?)

Anyways the last thing I remembered was being covered with a green hospital cloth with the middle cut open.

Some hours later I gained consciousness . I couldn't open my eyes yet but I could feel the nurses cleaning me with sponge. I was moaning ahhhhhhhh ohhhhhh ahhhhhhhh ohhhhhh I'm in pains oh ahhhhhhhh give me pain reliever.

The doctor said we just gave you na. I said is it spiritual pain killer?Because physically I haven't felt any relief oh. I'm in pains oh. Ahhhhhhhh ooo ooo my father oh...mmmmhhh ahhhhhhhh .

I will now hiss. In fact I mastered the art of hissing from the pain the four nights I spent in the hospital. I was in so much pain enh I can still remember it six months after.  But I have gotten my NHIS now so next pregnancy na me and that expensive hospital get am...hehe

So Stella for your eyes only (*sideeyes @ bvs) find attached pictures of my Lil champ *wink wink

Ah Stella you will tire for 'pinshures' today.
Lest i forget to add, the nurses were very nice oh even upon my hissing and frowning of face. They tried. Were always greeting me.

longitudinal obliquely?LMAO,i don hear new one.
Your story sweet,i was just hissing..hehehehehehhe

    1. It goes without saying, my dear. Once real labour pains start, you automatically start to pray without even knowing see, you will pray all manners of prayer that you've never even prayed before, even beg God to come down and take away the paints, lol.
