Bus Saga/ Etiquette

Good day Stella,

I must confess I love you so much and you're amazing in fact you're so on top of your game, right from the days of  Encomium and your cunny cunny gist that you will not put names but you will use all the adjectives in this world to describe them. Lol

Let me get back to my aim of writing to you.

I witnessed something last week in the bus and it got me thinking all day how Nigerians can be in the bus.

I'm not saying a bus is a place to form and speak phonetics but a decent amount of self control is not too much to ask for.

A certain youth Corp member sat in the first roll, the guy beside him farted, you know those types that will just have a mind of their own and come out on their own accord no matter how much you appease it not to. The corper was furious as the bus was tight, hot and we were all choking from the stench of the fart. 

Na so fight start 'how can you fart here?,what kind of nonsense is this? I will sue you for one name can't remember '. I am a certified lawyer blah blah blah 

It took the intervention of people in the bus to calm everything down.

Ten minutes into the journey another one happened, when you have three women who are gifted down sitting on a roll you know it's war. A slim man was the fourth person and he was almost falling off the seat.

All of a sudden, it just looked  like one evil spirit entered the third woman. She rudely asked them to shift they were still trying to explain to her that there's no space that's how she held the iron of the bus and pushed the other two women shouting 'is it my fault you are fat? Am I the cause of your fatness? We paid same fee you can't enjoy and open all your legs more than me'. The other women were so embarrassed, they were speechless and were just looking at her. One gathered courage to say 'madame I am not the cause of your frustration '.

I kept wondering all day about the incident and I could only reminisce on Nigerians and bus etiquette. I've been on a  bus that one of the passengers was eating yam and egg inside the bus, another chewing gum like those at Allen, another using leg to chook another person's butt in front of him, the worst set are the ones that will give you migraine just because you boarded a bus. Their voices are like megaphone and they will discuss and be fighting in the bus kai!! Annoying sets

What's your own bus saga for those still entering buses like moi and for my big aunties and uncles driving what's the worst road rage you've experienced or been involved in

My Former Employer Mistakenly Credited My Salary Bank Account

Dear Stella, thank you for making me an addict.  It has been on my

mind for 2 days now to create

this post and share them with folks here. I don't know why I have been

so pressed to create and tell this tale.

My former employer here in Abuja called my phone this afternoon

pleading that her accountant mistakenly paid a one month salary

payment into my account. She pleaded and told me to kindly refund the said sum to her own personal account.

I worked for them (name withheld) from November 2015 to March 2016. In

those period the working conditions weren't conducive, salary payments

was never consistent. And you

dare not ask/remind her to pay your salary. If you do, you will be

blacklisted and subject to sacked without notice. On top of that they

illegally cut your money claiming they pay tax for you. How can you be paying tax on my behalf when I don't know my tax ID or get a receipt? That's aside though. I had to leave after working for the first 3 month of this year

without my pay. We all got fed up and I left.

I was surprised to get a call from my former employer pleading in

God's name for me to pay back the money. She went ahead saying I am

good person and not capable of doing otherwise.

Of the truth, I need cash badly. I just came out from not having a job

for good five months, coupled with recession and hunger rocking my

home because I'm was helping my parent. To further buttress my

situation, my elder brother is getting married next weekend and it

would require some cash to avail my family and i.

I'm determine to return her money to the last kobo. I am in dire need

of cash, I refuse to play a fast one on her but I will repay her money

and I also have no intention of paying her in a bad coin of hers. I am

only human powered by Divinity! I believe my post will touch and

change the mentality/minds of employers and would be employers to be 

human to their subjects and also for people to do what's right at all cost.

They are owing you three months salary and mistakenly paid one month into your account?Hmmmmmm.......and now she is asking you to send it back?

Should we apply the Bible here or the law?

My thoughts are divided on this..If i should follow the bible and what it says what would be conclusion be?perhaps her sending you the money by mistake is Gods way of answering your prayer?Perhaps not.

Have you discussed the owed salaries with her?

Does the law allow you to keep that money and ask for the remaining two months?

I dont know what is wrong or right but please return her money to her and wait on God to bless you. #CookiesAndCream needed here
