Veteran Actor Zack Orji Says He Performs Domestic Chores At Home

Some men cannot even locate where the Kitchen or Toilet is at home..but not Zack!

I wash the dishes sometimes. It is not about showing love for one’s wife or one’s family. I just believe that since it is my house, it is something I should do. Also, when the children see such a thing, they will endeavour to emulate it.

It will become a habit. Sometimes, whenever my children are reading, I will pack my plates myself to the kitchen after eating rather than disturb their reading. We have no house maids.

My children sweep, cook and do other house chores. There are no cut-out roles for my wife or anybody in my house. There is no rule that says my wife must cook or do other things. I wash the toilet sometimes since everything one needs to clean the toilet is there....

  3. If one practices this way of marriage, tell me what his village people would be rejoicing over.

#EGO is just a small 3 letter word, which can destroy a big 12 letter word called RELATIONSHIP.

  4. Normal thing. Only some Nigerian men see things like this as one big stuff, as if they won't do them if they're living alone.

    Happy Sunday people!

    1. Don't mind them.

If you live in a house, what is wrong in doing these things?

Nigerian men and their bloated ego. As a man you can do little things around the house, you won't die oh.

  6. Nigeria men I guess you all I can hear that because the way they use their wife's to work one will mistake them for a helper. The one you can do you help out with it and not claiming the boss of the house while the woman wakes up to do nearly everything and same time you keep shouting at her to bring over your wife. YOUR WIFE IS UR HELPMATE AND NOT YOUR HOUSEHELP.

    You do.

Good example from Mr. Z Orji, better husband & father. He ages so handsomely and he is such a gentleman. Got this thing for men w some mixed grey/black hair/beards.

  18. I wonder why this should be news in 2016.My hubby does all sorts of house chores and it doesn't even appear like he is doing me a favour or something. Dude is even a better cook than me and sometimes cooks while I watch a movie, play games or even sleep. Infact, his best moment is when he is helping with domestic chores or serving me because he enjoys the praises I shower on him and will be all smiles and feeling like a hero of some sorts. I love my husband and bless God for little mercies. Continue doing you uncle Zack.#Pamperedwife*

  24. Anon 09:02, you just basically described my father, lol. And God in his own infinite mercies gave me a man who does housework like my dad. 6years together and I have never scrubbed the bathroom/toilet(that's his Saturday morning routine) hoovered, taken out the bin, food shopping, done laundry. The one thing he can't do to save his life is cook so that's where I come in, but after cooking, he serves himself and takes his plate to the kitchen after eating. If by chance, I'm going to the kitchen and I take his plate, he always says thank you. This kind of post makes me appreciate my little blessings.
