Vietnamese Customs Seized 309 Kilograms Of Smuggled Ivory From Nigeria

According to foreign media reports, recently, the Vietnamese Customs seized a number of 309 kilograms of smuggled ivory from Nigeria.

Vietnamese officials said the group of ivory at the airport in Hanoi last weekend seized, when the declaration is written on the glass.
'Ivory trade is still a threat to the survival of African elephants,' the wild trade watchdog said.

According to,It is reported that in Vietnam, ivory is often used as a home decoration, and in Vietnam, local, fewer and fewer elephants, the authorities have expressly prohibited the killing of elephants.

  4. But the elephants weren't killed in their country. The Nigerians probably went to another African country to get the ivories, cos I don't think we've got elephants here.
