Job 38:41 "Who provideth for the raven his food? when his young ones cry unto God, they wander for lack of meat."
IN THIS CHAPTER, God comes in on the scene and begins to talk with Job.
He confronts Him with several questions which
Job has no answers for.
The purpose of these questions is to stir up in him the consciousness of the fact of who God is and His omnipotence.
In our text today, we are confronted with the question of who provides for the raven his food. God is in the business of provision.
He is the greater provider of people's needs and wants.
Psa_147:9, "He giveth to the beast his food, And to the young ravens which cry."
The raven is specifically mentioned because it is an offensive bird, yet God takes care of it.
Mat 6:26 "Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?"
You are much better than the birds of the air.
God wants to provide for you every thing that you need and desire in your life.
You must recognise Him as your provider.
God clearly made Him his provider. He said the
Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want! Wao!
Paul the Apostle said, "My God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
You must not let worry rule over you.
Your Heavenly Father wants to take care of you.
Quit putting your trust and hope in man. Do not make anyone your source or provider, because they will fail you. Open up your heart towards Him (God), receive Him (God) as your provider. Then reach out and reach up and receive His provisions.
You don't have to go without. There is more than enough to take very good care of you.
Declare the 23rd Psalm today over and over again. It is the Psalm of God's provision for you.

Forgive my typos.I would just say my story here. Although totally unrelated. I am a 27 year old woman married to a Coward. The problem I think is that most Nigerian men lack positive modelling and emotional abuse is acceptable in our society. I met my husband, an expatriate in Nigeria that was raised in America with Nigerian heritage.and started dating him immediately. He was very sweet. He was doing very well financially and I come from an ok family. I had an apartment and two cars from my job. That was how we started dating. Until 8 months into our relationship. When he gets angry, he would say all the unprintable names in the world to me. I broke up. The guy begged that he had anger issues. I suppose run. A year into the relationship resetting slap. I forgave!
ReplyDeleteAll my friends were jealous. Some were even throwing themselves at him and begging him to fuck them. But guess what? The guy is faithful to death. He said he would never cheat on me. That cheating is for weak men. Beating nko. I knew I would never marry him. So he moved back to the U. S and told me to come. I visited a few times and decided to up skill and get a job there. A week into living with him, that was when he'll broke loose. The guy would insult me and all my family. Call them opportunists.He would tell me to clean the whole house 15 times and tell me I am a dirty pig. In fact that is when I knew that when someone says OCD na correct mental problem. People that say rubbish that they have it. You better reject it. I would clean wall, clean door, wash bed sheet, bathroom and iron from morning till night. I would make three meals for him to choose everyday. The guy seized my account. I kept thinking that once I get my certication sorted and I got a job, na run. I did my exams, got a job. Started planning my escape. Na in I found out I was pregnant. I couldn't believe it.
That was how the idiot proposed with the most surprising party. I burst into tears. Everyone thought I was overjoyed.... the thing is this man works in a multinational company and is adored by his peers.
As I gave birth to my daughter. I carry belle with the other one with correct beating....
It still makes no sense why you stayed.
