When a music plays on your favourite radio station, you can be rest assured that you are not the only one listening to that song at that particular hour, there must be a thousand and one other people in different parts of the city playing the same song via same station, but with DIFFERENT VOLUMES.
Similarly, The Challenges of life can sometimes overwhelm you into concluding that you are going through that situation alone. But the truth is, You are not alone in that situation. there are a thousand and one people with similar cases, but with DIFFERENT RESPONSES!
God is more interested in your response, than the problem.
Something remarkable happened in Mark 4:35-39! Jesus and His disciples were crossing to the other side via a boat. Jesus was asleep when the storm ensued. But how could Jesus be sleeping in---
In the midst of a violent storm threatening to sink the boat? What kind of sleep was that? You cannot sleep on a boat when the storm starts precipitating! The wave, the imbalance and the noise must wake you up. But Jesus chose not to dignify that problem by recognising it in the first place. So He kept on sleeping.
CAN YOU CHOOSE NOT TO LOOK AT THE BIGNESS OF YOUR TROUBLE but rather FOCUS ON THE AWESOMENESS OF YOUR GOD?
Your response to the problem is what matters most to God.
See, there is a difference between reality and truth! Reality is what you see, but truth is what God declares about you in any situation. So it doesn't matter what your reality is, choose to embrace truth (God's word). God is too powerful, His words can never lie. Infact,Let me remind you who your God is; it is your God that gave life to the body of Abraham at an old age. Sarah had passed menopause, yet your God turned things around.
It is your God that makes a woman's breasts to lactate at child birth to enable the baby have milk. If your God can feed the animals(that do not have souls) in the bush, how much more you who is so precious to him. It is God that gave you life, it is still Him that keeps your life. The Giver and the Keeper. Hallelujah!
Whatever is your challenge, no matter how long it has lasted, GOD WILL STILL FIX IT! ..Your God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus(Phil 4:19). Amen.
