Inasmuch as we support made in Nigeria and encourage our young people to be entuerprenurers. Why can't you guys create your own ideas? The 1st to 5th pictures are copied Zanotti and Versace Designs.
I hope you know you are breaking the law? It's a very serious offence and placing such advert here on social media is more serious offence. Let us learn to create our own ideas. I know the hustle is real and you are trying to make ends need but we need to do it rightly.
Even the Chinese online shops that sale fake designs are being closed daily.
Meanwhile your brown 2rd to last picture look lovely. Keep to such design if it is idea.

One problem with our made in Nigeria products is that they are quite on the high side. Haba 6k, quality one from China cannot be more than 4k including shipping.

MamaZeus said...

Advertiser biko do u have for toddlers and how much pls

Audrey said...

The price is very ok na, is it because it's made in Nigeria?

MDee said...

It should not be more than 4k.considering the design and quality. nothing to it. Good work though.

Beautiful sandals!
Curious about those chains changing colours thou; and also, isn't the price too high?
I'm just asking because, if you're trying to make Everyday Nigerians buy your products, also make it affordable.

Pipi Lee said...

So nice.
I want too

Pipi Lee said...

They actually do last more than the China you buy for 7 / 8k. A trial will convince you.

Madea said...

Lovely. You can't wear the ones with metal to enter the banks though. Lol.

Meeee said...

Its not because it's made in Nigeria.... it's too expensive biko... I've gotten sandals for 3k and im still wearing them today...ahbegiii

Anonymous said...

Recession price? Did the materials they use to make it not go into recession? Did they sell the materials at recession price? Will the maker teleport back in time to buy food, take transport and pay school fees? The recession causes inflation so,if you are looking for recession price then maybe they should put it at 12k.

Oya emeka go make Dem dash u

Shyla said...

Because its locally made thats why its supposed to be cheaper. Why not 5k and that 1k for delivery. Total will be 6k.

Zitel Coconut oil Onitsha 08081725441 said...

Obj told us its comfortable. Oya buy one n give it a trial

Madea said...

Excuse you. So because they are in cartons they can't be made in Nigeria? Mind you bespoke costumiers make even branded cartons for their made in Nigeria shoes so that your pointer holds no water really. 6k is normal for bespoke sandals. How much does Mai Atafo and the likes of April by Kunbi and E.A.T charge for the clothes they make?

Obi's Jewel said...

Yes my dear. Because it is made in Nigeria it should be cheap.

Brown Sucre said...

Lovely shoes.
Wow,wowza.
Beautiful shoes.
Our igbo brothers are doing a good job, only need more money pumped into it, it will be like world brands, but as usual, they wont.

Hahahahaa @anonymous. That's my point up there. It's not Stella's fault but people that post such advert thinking we blogvisitors are gullable.

It's more expensive to produce here in Nigeria.Importation is cheaper at times.

BossBitchLady said...

Bianca, that you are poor and can neither appreciate nor afford quality is your own 'blessing'.

Because what you can or cannot afford is nobody's business. It should be an intimate conversation between you and your empty pocket.

Poster, well done. I wish your enterprise well. The more we support our own, financially and otherwise, the better it will be for us.

Anonymous said...

It's extremely expensive but nice. That's why people don't want to buy made in Nigeria goods. They are always as expensive as UK products which is bad. UK products are expensive because they are genuine and cost of shipping will be added but in Nigeria, someone will make slippers in his backyard, will not pay for light nor shop but will still put ridiculous price on it. Happy selling o

Anonymous said...

It is expensive

Anonymous said...

Thank you o Blanca

Dike F(xyz) said...

Na so na. But if a Guy buy it for you now you will term the Guy a "Stingy" guy.

Anonymous said...

Anon how can it be more expensive to produce here? Do you buy in dollars? Do you pay shipping fares? Do you pay for other extras? Nigerians are greedy. The earlier they lern that the cheaper the faster it will sell, the better

Kachi said...

Lovely but this price is too high

Kittygirl said...

It is TOOOOOOOOO EXPENSIVE SHEBI NA
MADE IN NIGERIA. Let us no harm ourselves by selling too high.

koko said...

Very soon you start seeing it everywhere like pure water, even on market women.

Roseflower said...

Are they made of plastic or leather?
And I also think the prices are a bit on the high side.

Very cute sandal, those saying they are expensive, have you thought of the fact that the person advertising them may be a retailer, abi ppl are not allowed to make profit again from made in Nigeria goods.

Ilo Chidi said...

How on earth is it costly? Factor in, the cost of materials, manpower and all used in production. Lets not talk about power which is on its own. Abegi, the price is okay. All this Akube people

Becky Divine said...

Very lovely, bless your hustle

Ashley said...

Who told you there's nothing like "rightly"? Do your research first before correcting people on social media.

Anonymous said...

She's not gullible,just extremely dumb,y u think say she graduate with 3rd

Anonymous said...

@annonymous 11:52, cost of production is high in nigeria oh. If you factor in that fuel, light etc. Almost all raw materials are imported too. Thats y many small businesses are dying in Nig. You will be suprised that when you compare it to UK to talked abt,its more exp to produce here.

Anonymous said...

Nigerian made designer clothes are more exp that imported. Also raw materials for these sandals may be imported and we know what that means now

Anonymous said...

Its usually more expensive to produce here in Nigeria bc raw materials are sourced from abroad. Why do you think many businesses are folding up. No raw materials

Robyna Wenger said...

Exactly what i was thinking. Why aren't they being creative?

Sugargirl said...

I want gucci

Anonymous said...

And the ones from UK that are same price or lower than of those Nigeria made are fakes. Who will sell a Giuseppe Zanetti for even 200k that costs like $945 to 1000?

Anonymous said...

Jaymoore. Old man like you cannot spell entrepreneur.

Wow.thanks evryone,im so amazed at d comments, are som pple saying its too costly? Lik lmao,do u know des products are all imported?maybe u will rather buy a made in nnaija inspired by zannotti by MAI ATAFO for 70k,you wil not remember dat time dat its made in naija, moreso how many pple can afford zanotti of 300k? some of u who made it to the made in naija expo will know dat nigerians are very talented,Som of u said they are internet pics, yes they are digital pics, what u dnt knw is dat most of us sell on e-comerce platforms and yes we put dose pics der.d funny thing is people stupidly buy des things in d boutiques for higher amounts thinking dey are imported.yinmu.shop owners are patronising locals like crazy.pls lets apreciate and promote what we have.thanks all for words of encouragement. Poster.

MrsB said...

The materials to make these items are imported. You guys really need to be considerate to Nigerian brands.

MrsB said...

Yes, raw materials are sourced abroad and even if you don't pay in dollars because you don't buy directly from outside the country, you are buying from those who are sourcing materials abroad so yes, the dollar affects it too. Be considerate. Until you own a brand and face these challenges, its easy to criticise

Nmasinachi said...

Lovely shoes

Anonymous said...

So finally i have confirmed by posts here that this blog is full of ignorant mofos who are just sadly priviledged to have internet enabled devices acquired via whatever means. Save for MrsB and a few other who made sense up there. How can anyone compare prices of China made goods to Nigerian made given the types of economies both countries operate? For one China is a renowned country for mass production, infrastructure is different namely electricity. These guys who make these shoes here are small cottage industries who produce by hand, do not have enough support from the govt, exchange rate to purchase raw materials is a killer, they run near permanently on generators with fuel at the price it is, they could have maybe just 2-3 workers hence they produce just maybe only 3 pairs per week....I could go on and on. So how then can any sane person expect these shoes to be sold at 2k??? Seriously?? For your info, ur darling Gucci, Zanotti, Prada etc are all produced in China (yes they may have dedicated factories, use higher quality materials, but labour is cheap), hence you find knock offs that most of you know/buy which are so similar you can hardly tell the difference from the so-called original.

Get a brain guys, its time to wake up and smell the coffee. Yes, we can be like china, even better. We just need a little push which can be tough and painful sometimes and that is the lession this period of recession we are all going through is expected to teach us. God bless us all and kudos to the makers of these shoes, may your hustle be blessed.
