During Jonas time d national cake was free for all which wasn't a good thing for our economy n nation.

Buhari is trying but I'm yet to see good things happening!
I think we should let him try his best.
This suffering we are in now wouldn't last long, I believe!
By the time he brings back what d abachas n babangidas took from us inform of oil,I think d crisis will mellow down...but, if he dsnt do it fast, come 2019 his definitely going home!

  2. To be honset I will vote for Jonathan, in his regime there was no suffering or hunger, beacuse they love the good life they had a strong team in terms of economy, money flowed, they made sure things were not hard ,he didn't come up with strict laws, he is a soft man and he hates suffering,we wouldn't have been in this state, all my friends that supported Buhari, I mean mostly the yorubas are in deep regrets, I am a middlebelt person but I will vote jona in.

The news of his corrupted cabinet is still fresh in the air plus efcc would dig up alot of corruption practiced by his government and that would even make it worst.

    2. Exactly!!!! If he didn't fail like an evil moron, nobody will even consider Buhari.
Someone that could not manage economy when there was bountiful harvest, is it now that global oil prices have crashed that he'll do better? Shioor!
A neutral person better start springing up...NOT ATIKU sha...... cos Buhari no go smell that office come 2019. Let him start getting ready his tourism bucket list for countries he hasn't visited by then. Johnny walker will sponsor him.

  5. No I wouldn't. I clamoured for a change from him and will not go back to my vomit. If by 2019 I'm not impressed with the current leadership, I would exercise my voting rights again and vote someone else in. This isn't a royal title that someone must stay and stay in power and probably be succeeded by his offspring. I'd say no to Jonathan again and again.

    2. I agree. Hes too weak to even stand up to anyone. His wife is a true reflection of his weakness and the kind of decisions he makes. He is not a leader "material". Most strong leaders tend to be choleric but Jonathan seems like a melancholy/phlegmatic. Nigeria needs someone strong and decisive and not someone that will say he didnt know when "what" happened. A man that cannot even tame or restrain his wife.

There was minimal bloodshed during election when he was in power. Everybody has a voice but not anymore. He shouldn't contest at all. What he has in terms of respect and international recognition is better than being president. His name is already in world history book.no matter how hard apc try to dent his image. He shouldn't contest again.

  19. Jonathan is one man i like and respect! He is a good man and a man of peace... that's for sure

But i wouldn't like him to be the next president of Nigeria come 2019! He doesn't have the energy and brutality it takes to lead a country like Nigeria! I'm sorry to say this, but i have to... Jonathan is weak! And he can't seem to make a decision by himself and stand by it! He is easily controlled, gullible and trusts easily! And majority of the people he trusted and believed in ended up betraying him.

Come 2019 we need a younger, educated leader. A leader from a different party that's not APC or PDP! Someone who has guts, who is not pretentious, who knows what is best for Nigeria and it's citizen, who has our best interests at heart, who is incorruptible and full of wisdom. Trump might be racist but he has America's best interests at heart...that is undeniable.

Let's start searching for our own Trump before 2019!!!

Nigerians are gullible and too sentimental that's why I don't feel an iota of pity for what some of them are going through. Who votes for someone that supports blood shed? People are trying so hard to sabotage this government and look how they're still trying. the previous government had no challenge except for Boko Haram which they refused to look into for reasons best known to them and this govt has curbed that. Hell people are moving around freely in born. first thing this govt complained about was the empty treasury when they came into power so to me they're still trying their best. it's just been 18months with 32 to go. I still have faith.

And if 'We' hadn't voted in Buhari,we wouldn't have known that pump price can never be #45,we wouldn't have known that removing subsidy was actually a good idea,we wouldnt have know that giving unemployed citizens #5000 was just an ordinary campaign Promise, we wouldn't have known that 'change' is just a word and that the average Nigerian is corrupt... We wouldn't have loved and valued Jonathan!!

Let's enjoy the change we voted for....this change that's so vindictivethis change that isn't genuine this change that's old and clueless, this change that is not realistic..... We need a new person, cos both PDP and APc are recycled old and clueless leaders who are using politics to get at each other!!

    ReplyDelete
  45. No, I will not vote for Jonathan - nor for Buhari at any rate. Jonathan is a good man, but he was a weak and naive leader. Effectively, he failed to lead from the front during his time. He stood by while his appointees, with an agenda of greed and crass impunity, assumed demi-god roles in his government, reducing Nigeria to a mockery of political and economic governance. Jonathan's personality of calmness, tolerance and joviality strikes one as that of a statesman, no doubt. But for a President, I need someone who will add to these other qualities such as tenacity, responsibility and discipline.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Just because of the suffering that Nigerians are going through, I will vote GEJ. Buhari dashed our hopes, his Fight against Corruption is one-sided, prices of foodstuff is nothing to write home about. Atleast during GEJ, level of corruption was alarming but Nigerians could still feed. President Buhari is not fighting corruption and the economic situation is terrible. See how Ex-Governor Oshiomole is disgracing himself. #200million for a house and other benefits. Tell me what is more corrupt than this? As much as disappointed I am on how GEJ handled office, I will vote for him. I believe he will change for the better.

  50. Never! His administration made thieves (politicians and their friends) richer. Put us in more debt. So noooo

  51. I will vote Jonathan because he understands things,Buhari don't even care.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Nah won't vote for Dr Jonathan.

He is a good man alright but a good man that doesn't know how to say "No"
He is too trusting. And too forgiving. And I might add he doesn't really have the kind of experience a leader should have. Even though it can be argued that he can learn and all that. But no,I won't be voting him should he come back.

    ReplyDelete
  53. NO...Reason would be he had a chance but yet the discoveries made today shows he still lacks the capability so I would rather vote a new face and a new mind if possible an intelligent woman...in the end there's no harm in trying although we did with buhari and we are now counting and hoping for a quick return of 2019...BM

    ReplyDelete
  54. I will vote for Jonathan because the nation's suffering was alleviated at the time he was president. Besides, Buhari has not recorded any success in his fight on corruption as nothing tangible has happened to those under probe and he succeeded in delaying my brother from going for NYSC; imagine mobilizing Batch B in November? And not paying allowance as at when due.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Yes and yes.. Yes, yesser, yessest!!!.. If Jonathan was still presido, the untold hardship flashing it's ugly claws at us won't dare!!!

If not for savings, this recession for affect me die. Thank God for wisdom to invest during the time the goings were good... Plus my MMM united that pays me wella.
I will choose Jonathan over and over again. His own tenure and hardship was beta biko.

  56. Capital NO. Enough of the recycled old politicians. Please we need pple who can apply demselves.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Stella, Goodluck is a very intelligent and humble man but he always felt too little to be the president. He allowed shallow minded people to dictate to him. I believe he has learnt his lesson. So would I want the old Goodluck to be President? No. But I would definitely vote a Goodluck that is reformed, stronger and has a mind of his own. President Buahari has all this, but he lacks one essential quality. He does not have the interest of the common Nigerian man at heart. And he is too stubborn. I am always correct syndrome will never allow him be great.

    ReplyDelete
  58. No.... reasons because this is gonna set a precedence where past presidents will start contesting... aside that... now I believe in continuity because if yes. then we gonna start afresh again... and you know what that means....anyway.. I love Jonathan.. and he has done his own quota for the country... some other should be giving the chance also.. Nigeria is our project...

    ReplyDelete
  59. I will vote Jonathan over and over again,i didn't vote PMB in the first place, but I wanted a positive change not the type we have that millions of Nigerians have lost their jobs and a lot of them can't even boast of 3 square meal a day,and the cost of living is shutting through the roof,I want a Nigeria where we can leave, work and have money to do stuffs for ourselves and the people around us,not what we have today,so if Jonathan have the intention to come out in 2019 I will definitely vote for him and am sure 95% of Nigerians will vote too,the problem I had with Jonathan's administration was the killings BY BOKO HARAM,but I know it was fraud...but like they say,is best to leave when the oration is high,so,I don't want him to come back again to mess up his good name ,let someone new come up and we will support him.

This man gave everyone in his cabinet the freedom to loot Nigeria blind. His wife, concubines, and even the pets in his household and government!!

  79. EFCC will soon go after him; that's all these kinds of posts will generate. You see when OUK began trumpeting the idea, they went full force until he "decamped". Same with Sule only that he has not decamped, he is in and out of jails with his sons. Please you guys should leave this man alone.

  80. I will vote for GEJ if he contests in 2019. By the way, sorry to derail, I read some comments in the catholic posts where some bvs said it is wrong to honour Mary. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. It is hypocritical to honour your pastors and their wives "daddies and mummies" who may not even be born again and complain about the Catholic ways of honouring Mary. I am a Pentecostal, so I know how we act towards pastors and wives. I know a church that every one that climbs the pulpit celebrate the G.O and his wife first. Members of such churches have no moral justification to criticize the Catholics.

  82. He just celebrated his birthday recently and I forgot to wish him a happy birthday. My birthday wish to you Mr Jonathan is...

May you die a very painful death if you stole over a 100 billion naira when you were the President of Nigeria!

Note, I said 100 billion of money belonging to you and I, not 1 billion or 1 million.

And I'm not even referring the money his cronies and household members stole!

Anyone who calls this man their hero and wants him back for running a government that left Nigeria in this shambles is sick in the head. No gainsaying.

  91. Buhari, Jonathan or whoever it is... What you guys don't know is that Nigeria is not ruled by the President but by a cabal. They tell the President what to do. So whoever is there doesn't really matter as long as the cabal is still there calling the shots.

I'll reject gej and vote Buhari over and over again.
Some people say they can no longer talk of change for fear of being molested. Well, different strokes for different folks. On a daily basis I preach the gospel of change according to APC and PMB everywhere I find myself in Nigeria. I point at the practical steps government is taking to salvage the very hopeless situation inherited from PDP and gej. I correct the lopsided portraiture, in some quarters, that recession started with PMB. I refer them to sleazy revelations of how the treasury was heartlessly looted by gej, even borrowing in the midst of unprecedented revenue that accrued during his reign, only to loot such loans. I point out to them how PMB had to clear a debt of about 500 billion naira to contractors owed by the Gej regime, before the contractors agreed to move back to sites. Now you see infrastructure rehabilitation all over the country. I draw their attention to the fact that under Gej, crude sold for as high as 150 usd per barrel, while under Buhari, it went as low as 28 usd per barrel. I inform them that under Gej, Nigeria sold about 2.5 million barrels per day while Buhari can hardly muster 1 million barrels per day due to vandalism. I tell them that, in spite of these, Buhari has been able to keep the nation afloat, even bailing out about 27 States that could not pay salaries under Gej. I draw their attention to the fact that boko haram no longer occupy any Nigerian territory. I assure them that results of Buhari's efforts will manifest in the fullness of time. I educate them that Buhari is neither a magician nor a miracle worker. I tell them all these, and much more. They listen, we argue, I convince some, some remain unconvinced but nobody dare to molest me.

    1. Your name says it all. Even if Buhari is from the North do you really think in your heart that he has the ability to move the country forward?. Pls think long and hard before answering the question. We have to learn to put the country first above all else.

  96. Nigerians are too gullible for my liking. Atrocities of Jonathan´s govt shebi? Too many ignoramuses. If I was president I will make illetracy illegal. That will be my GOAL, not fight against corruption. Nigeria is an organism that is capable of running itself as long as the wheels are oiled. Na magic say all the APC guys are clean???????????????????????????
These APC people are not smart enough to realise that Jona is quite because God is fighting his battles abi?
