The SABC witnessed Pastor Lethebo Rabalago spray himself and some of his congregates with the insecticide during an exclusive invitation to a Sunday service.
The self-proclaimed prophet alleges that he uses this method to heal his congregates from different ailments.
A church member read out a message to encourage Rabalago.
It read: "He is strong, for he was anointed by Elohim. When storms and hurricanes comes, he heads straight to them. When criticisms come to him, he does not hide because he is the son of the storm rider. He stands tall before the Goliath of this world, the media. He is Lethebo Rabalago detective. When he teaches, you feel the rumble in his voice. My papa continue doing great things."
Rabalago quoted a passage of the teachings of Jesus in the New Testament, with a few changes.
"Those who believe in my name can cast out demons, those who believe in my name they shall pick up snakes, they shall spray doom and it will not do anything to them, Mark 16. We had servants who had been preaching, Hallelujah God is alive, those one were dealing with theory, so God had to select a generation that deals with practical."
