Labour Room Drama 107

Extremely hilarious recount....I don laugh tire.

I hail oo Mrs steraaaa... Hope your COOKIES and CREAM dey kampe. πŸ˜‰.
Oya, to my tori..

My first baby labor was just a preamble to what I went through during my second..as my first came premature na.

Right from the day I knew I was expecting my second baby, na from one morning sickness to another..chaii, the baby show me. Couldn't eat for months..

To enter kitchen na war..i was only feeding on GARRI-WATER(OMI GARRI..), COLD WATER,ROASTED PLANTAIN OR ROSTED CORN and
ICE TEA but Garri water was just my saviour. I couldn't hold any food down but with omi-garri, I am all good.

From my 7th week to my 17th week, my people, it was just omi garri BUT the water has to be chilled...I mean serious chilling. After my 17th week, I tried other foods but naaa, they just weren't it.. I became so lean., couldn't work. It got to a point, I told husby that I was going to get rid of the pregnancy..😩 cos it felt like na only me waka come for that belle.. I cried like baby at times.. I sha pulled through till I was 4months.

I registered for my ante-natal(same hospital I had my first) when I was 4months+. Na so they placed me on injection ( premolute)for about six weeks. They didn't want me to fall into labor like my first😣. After the six weeks, I did my scan and it was a GIRL. And my EDD was October. Na so my counting down began. Me and calendar became besties..lol..

I just couldn't wait to download.
To make matter worse, my doctor now said I was going to have CS.. I said "whatttttttappen".. Me that I fear CS like say na the thing killed me in my first life. He said because of my height bla bla bla.. I said "shuuuu, na only me short for naija ni"..and then MRS STERRAAA too now started LRD..😩😩..

Whenever I read LRD and I see CS part, I go just waka pass am.. My belle sef was soooo big like say na me wan born the remaining children for heaven.. My doctors were worried about the big belle, I went for my last scan and they said my amniotic fluid was much but there was no cause for alarm and also my baby was expected to come 10th of October(my late fathers birthday).I was happy and I also wished it fell on my first child's birthday (NOV 6TH) but I just know I can't make it to that NOV.

Na so me and my bestie(calender) dey watch dey go.. Fast forward to OCT 2nd, which was on a Sunday during the service, my pastor said we should ask for just one thing☺☺na so I told Big G, say parle biko make this baby come 6th of Oct not November oo at least make she share same date with her brother..OCT 6th and NOV 6th..na so I do amen.

Tuesday came which was my last appointment before my EDD, Na so my doctor said I should come and go and do PELVIMENTARY SCANπŸ˜’πŸ˜’, I say "ki tun leleyi bayi(which one be this like this). He said its just to know if my pelvic is OK to push out my baby cos my baby is on the big side( imagine oo, me that I couldn't eat even after I passed my craziest morning sickness) and that she weighed 3.57kg. I said OK make we ask how much.. My people, na so dem say 40k😱😱..I say for this bihari time?.. KO le werk(in Mr coker's voice).

I told the doc make he leave me and my pelvic say God go do wonders(as a woman of faith that me is nahπŸ’ͺ)..lol
Oct 5th(Wednesday) na so my water started leaking more meanwhile, I started seeing water from that Sunday after church. Wednesday night, I couldn't sleep at all.. Thursday came(6th),I started having this funny cramps but it wasn't painful.. I called husby and told him " oga, e be like say I wan go see doc because this my water just they leak and leak.. Na so oga got home before I could say jack.. I went into the bath, even did a video for my sister dancing with my big belle under the shower.. Lol. I dressed up with no panties underneath except bra.

When we got to the hospital around 5.00pm, I told the doctor that I think my "show don start". He asked how sure I was, I said I don't know but I just have the feeling.. He saiD OK we should go into the labor room to check what was happening. We entered and he began the checking and that was when he said I was 3cm dilated😳😳 ..I said really? He said yes and that they should prepare me for a CS..na so I dash the man one strong look.. I told him NOOOOOO,that I won't have this baby through CS..

My husby was asked to go get my bag, while I was taken to the ward. And I was induced.. I was still forming super macho, was looking for charger to charge my phone..lol. Husby kept calling me to please try and hold the whole show till he is there cos he wants to enter the delivery room with me.. Na so the real show started.. Chaiiiii, right from my head to my toes.. I held myself till husby was there and then we went into the delivery room together and that was around 6.15pm. When the thing enter my body, I asked husby to remove my bra.. He called the nurse and they helped me due to the drip on me make I no use my gbongbonri body to remove am..

After some mins, I told husby "le'boo, biko help me remove this gown am wearing" he said " for where?, you will now be naked?... Na so I dash am one look followed with a blow on his chest.. They didn't teach him before he removed it and then I was stack naked. My doc came in at that time, na so husby was trying to cover hin property.

I was left alone with husby in the delivery room till 9 making it almost 3hrs in labor. They checked me again and said I was about 7cm dilated. The doctor burst my water and then the pains increased. The nursed on duty that night were all there to help husby rub my back.. Husby was the one that suffered my beatings, blow and bites.. Chaiii. But his presence really helped me.

When it was 10.20, I asked for the doctor that I wasn't ready to pull through this anymore that he should come and proceed with the CS..some mins after, he came in and checked me again and said I was about 8.5 cm gone but that my baby's head was coming down and that he's giving me 20more mins after that, they will come roll me into the theater. He asked husby to see him and they left. I was now left alone in the labor room and then I found my voice again. I found my faith again. I gathered the last strength in me, stood up and went on my knees.. I cried to God. I told Him to do what He knows how to do best.. I told Him He couldn't have brought me this far to be operated on..and with the pains, I stood up, laid down back and waited for the doc to come back in.

The doc came back in to the room 11.02pm,the theater was already set. And then I told him I feel like I want to pass out a big-hard poo. He said OK he should check me for the last time before they wheel me to the theater. Lo and behold, God did it, my baby's head was at entrance and he said I should push when he says. He asked for an injection and they injected my Veejay.. And he took a scissors na so he start to dey cut. I didn't know what it was until when husby screamed and said "doctor you dey tear her yansh ni'' but he said it in Yoruba.. ...LMAOOOOOO

And then I was asked to push, my babys head to the shoulder came out from my first push and the second push, she was all out... Oops. Weighing 3.57kg. Came out exactly 11.20pm..on the 6th of same Oct i asked God..I cried and all I had on my lips was just praises. My doctor came back into the room and said to me "I congratulate you and give God all the praises for you.. Your faith worked"..

He stitched me up. Was asked to use the wheel chair back to my room but I said I would use my 2legs to walk back just the same way I walked in with my 2legs.my baby was brought to me after some time, the joy in my heart couldn't be quantified. 😍😍😍😍. She made it all worth it right from day one till the very last.
Kisses Mrs Sterraaaa.....

This was really funny..please oh,why did the Doctor recommend CS becos of your height?.I have never heard of anything like this before....HIAN!

    2. Shut that your stupid mouth! Some hospitals just want to do can because of the money. It's avoidable. How can someone who came in and was already 3cm be booked for cs? Plus she has had a baby naturally before. You're the illiterate here!

    3. I hope you don't believe your dr would have truly performed c/s at 8.5cm dilated. My friend pushed out her baby at 7cm dilated.

    4. She is not an illiterate. There was no good indication for a csection in this case. It's been interesting to read how people think it's okay to have an elective csection. It has it's own risks and the recovery is harder. Vaginal delivery is always the better option if there is no indication for a csection. I'm a doctor and I deliver babies so I know what I'm talking about.

    5. Anonymous 21:22 a CS can be done even @ 10cm pelvic dilation if it's an obstructed labor which is a risk factor for short people because they usually have a small pelvis thus a cephalopelvic disproportion can occur (i.e. The hard of the baby not passing through the birth canal).

    6. Madam writer that called me an illiterate, thanking you in jenifas voice..it wasn't about the "_death" part..I just don't like the idea of CS personally.. I don't know when ones person idea turned someone into an illiterate.. Thanks to my fellow bvs that helped me to reply "d anonymous".. Y'all are awesome..
