Nigerian Man Chijoke Obioha Will Be Executed In Singapore Today For Drug Related Offences...

Despite his pleas for clemency,Chijioke Obioha will be executed Today Friday November 18th in Singapore for drug related offences....Cases like his is not new and almost every other month,we hear cases of Nigerian men sent to their early death for disobeying laws relating to drug trafficking in Countries where death is the punishment for their crimes.

Today Chijioke will breathe his last for his crimes.

Obioha was found in possession of more than 2.6 kilogrammes of cannabis in April 2007, surpassing the amount of 500 grammes that triggers the automatic presumption of trafficking under Singapore law.

Under Singaporean law, when there is a presumption of drug possession and trafficking, the burden of proof shifts from the prosecutor to the defendant. .

Chijioke Stephen Obioha graduated in Industrial Chemistry from Benin University in Nigeria. He moved to Singapore in 2005, seeking to join a football club.
His family members, who currently live in Nigeria and the United Kingdom, have been unable to travel to visit and had limited ability to assist him but they have allegedly been informed that he will be executed today.

This just breaks my heart imagining what his family will be going through...what the woman that carried him for nine months will be going through.
I wonder how Chijioke will be feeling now...how he will feel when they come to escort him knowing he is 'going'.

Those who believe in get rich quick or die trying,I hope they read this.

If you are dating or married to a drug peddler or even have one in the family and you know and are enjoying his wealth,i hope you read this.
I am blabbing so much because news like this spoils my day and shatters me emotionally.

RIP man from my alma mater!...GREATEST UNIBEN!

    2. Hahahaha @"something must kill a man". You re right Lin-Lin.
Our brothers know the laws of those countries as per execution when it comes to drug but yet they don't care.
It's written on their visa. As we read about his today others are gearing up to travel to same country and others as drug couriers tonight.
By the way, Why do their families bring up execution stories few weeks or days to executions? Why not start campaigning for their release on time. It's too late for any Government to do anything now talk more of our useless Government we always have in power who do not care about it's citizens.

    3. So true, Lin Lin, one thing must kill a man.

This just took me back to 1000 ways to die on SonyMaX, who else can say the intro offhand?

"The stories portrayed in this case are based on real deaths and are very graphic; names have been changed to protect the identities of the deceased.
Do not attempt to try ANY of the actions depicted! YOU WILL DIE!!!
Death, is everywhere. Some of us try to avoid it, others can't get away from it. Every day we fight against GERMS, TOXINS, INJURY, ILLNESS and CATASTROPHE.
There's so many ways to end up dead, the fact that we survive at all is a miracle, because every day we live, we face a 1000 WAYS TO DIE."

      Lol

  9. I have been emotional snc I read about this yesterday. Its too bad that making quick money illegally has cost him his life.

I cant even imagine how he feels knowing that today will be his last day on earth, GOD!!!. I believe he has confessed his unrighteous ways to Lord and ask for his mercy to partake in d eternal life cos he has the privilege to do so.

    God pls console his family.

RIP my Igbo brother. May God accept your soul.

  22. Chai, after so many years in detention they still went ahead to execute him. Chijioke, I believe you must have amended your ways while in prison. May the Angels receive you. Of what shall it profit a man to gain the whole world and loose his soul. May God give your family courage to bear the loss. I know you will be so bitter during your last escort to journey of no return. Who knows what will be going through your mind. The memory of loved ones, the day the deal was planned, how you were apprehended, your intention and desire had it been it went smoothly. Can't write more jare, I no be Uncle Reuben sister. RIP nwanne.
