Some MFM churches just like to overdo. If you must get married in an MFM church, use any of the ones in Lekki.

    9. Believe it or not. Back in 2013,a bride was stopped and asked to go back outside when she was marching up the stairs to enter the church.Regional overseer' s wife used water and soap to wash her face. Her tears with the no make up face made her worwor no he small. Spent 6 yrs in Mfm.I don try.no going back there except to attend programs once in a while.

  7. Lol@ factory settings. Even if the hair is against their doctrine, i dont think they gave the right to cut anyone's hair. But then again, for her to have done her wedding in MFM means she was or is a member and she is aware of all their requirements. Like my friend who did her wedding reception in a church compound and made the Bishop her chairman. Bishop banned any "ungospel" song and people were complaining. Qhat did they expect? It was only about 3 gospel songs the dj had. They danced to them over and over...lol

  8. I think it happened yesterday or so, some other people confirmed being at the wedding.

The girl wanted to play a fast one on the Church, but she played herself.
Although it was too extreme and embarrassing cutting her hair extension, but she deserved what she got.
Was she not aware of the rules and regulations of the denomination? But she refused to abide by the rules; perhaps, she thought they wouldn't noticed or maybe they will just overlook.

The Church has rules and doctrines, if you are a member and can abide by the rules, you stay if not you look for another denomination with a lesser strict rules to belong.
Most of those churches, their women can be very fanatic sometimes.
She embarrassed herself, she even went as far as wearing makeup, when she's well aware that those people don't wear makeup or even allow it.

She must have been told the rules of marrying in the church yet she disobeyed so it's either she removes the attachment or go home, she was not forced to marry there. Nigerians always acting lawless. There has always been a rule that no excessive make up, earing or revealing outfit yet they will not hear but instead some will still chose to argue, is it by force to go to mfm? Find a church that suit you simple. Stop coming to social media to say crap.

Lol😀😀😀 I don't know the rules for getting married in MFM. All I know is that most couples go to other churches like redeem Christian church of God to wed.
On Sundays I still use my jewelries and make up to MFM. My mom does so too, infact she draws the damn brow to church. My mom's daughter didn't wed in MFM but redeem and my parents are not redeemers. Many intending couples do the same too.

Bros thank your star say No Be Lord's Chosen Una Wed, Them For Shave Your Bride's Hair Comot PataPata. Na Gorimapa For Remain. Infact You For No Recognize Your Bride To Be. Lol😀😀😀😀 The most important is that the wedding didn't end in pains and shame instead the so called MFM mummies danced to kiss Daniel 'mama'😀

  41. Stella, pls same happened to me in 2005 , I was a corps member. I attended the pre-wedding counseling, new the rules and regulations, my stylist deceived me to fix artificial hair, which I did. when we got to the church, I hid in the car, but the committee are always smarter, bride's hair are always examined, n any artificial hair must, I mean must be removed b/4 the wedding commences. I thank God, I wedded there. No regret. #proud MFM Member. If you know u won't abide, alternative dey o.

Dr. Olukoya makes emphasis on that, you can always go to another church n wed, but wherever you worship endeavor to obey their rules. Do not break their rule and rush to the Media to complaint, that will not change anything.

And in all my years there I have NEVER seen this happen.
In my branch oh, they aren't usually too hard on brides whose parents are the ones that worship there or if the groom is the one who is Mfm member, although of course you comply with their rules and you do marriage counseling. Maybe that branch is just extra vigilant.

Anyway thank God the reception went well. At least, the church mothers showed up . lol.
