  2. Its not a fair world, esp in Nigeria, people get away with all sorts, imagine the young innocent man just lost his life and I can bet nothing will happen. RIP young man. It just took me bk to that dv post of yesterday, even Dino melaye came out with all sorts of picture evidence still nothing happened to Dino, instead he was elected senator and given chieftaincy titles and still has custody of the kids. It's just sad, stuff like dis is why pple take d laws into thr hands and commit murder.

  15. Chai! RIP young man.
Nigerian police always in the news for the wrong things, what will it take to show empathy to the family. They lost a son/brother for crying out loud! It shouldn't even be a matter of jurisdiction.
May God comfort you and your family.

  18. Sad, very sad. Rip to the dead, fortitude to the mourners.

Aware of the hatred the people have forthe police, that DPO ought to have gone on a visit even if it wasn't his jurisdiction consideribg that his men were involved. Yet it was an accident and I can't say if the police were on their lane in top speed or if the victim was trespassing the police's right of way. I wonder if, irrespective of who was at fault, if it was the police vehicle that caught fire and burnt them, the poster and his family would have paid the dead policemen's families visit.
I am saying this because some call outs are unnecessary. All I think the poster needed was sympathy and solidarity over the loss rather than try to over shadow his loss with police's inability to visit them.
I am saying this because a person's uniform doesn't make him, what makes him is the genetic components and his choice of evil or good. Hence good and bad people carry their good and bad into the profession they find themselves.
For instance, many years ago, a lawyer, someone supposed to be a man of justice, knocked down an uncle of mine who was minding his own business. Because he couldnt move immediately, witnesses to the incident prevailed on him to take the man to the nearest hospital. As an emergency, he said he had no money on him and asked the hospital to commence treatment while he dashes to the nearest bank to get some money for deposit. He never returned till date. Is he also a policeman?

    1. Atleast he rushed ur uncle to the hospital and Dat was bcos people saw him...these men didn't even try to help this young boy. I totally agree with the third paragraph.

Rip young man. May God console his family. Nigeria is a lawless country. Justice is perverted on daily basis. Even the wicked 5 Muslim men that slaughtered that innocent 74 years old Christian woman bcos she prevented them from. Washing hands and legs in front of her shop has been discharged without any fine. What a wicked world we live in.

  28. I think we need to stop putting so much emphasis on our leaders. We as Nigerians are so wicked to ourselves and we don't value human lives..Change must begin with everyone in our own little way..My condolences to Ojimanu Family..May his soul rest in peace!! #stopPolicebrutalityandlawlessness!

  31. It takes incidences such as this, for most people who think they love Nigeria (but living in denial) to realize that there isn't hope for a nation such as this. We will only survive for as long as its possible. Things continue like this for too long; breakup is imminent. Only a foreigner can save and change Nigeria for good - No Nigerian can!

  32. May his soul Rip

I pray everyday that my family and I will never be victims of circumstances. We'll always be at the right place at the right time.
Everyday, I send forth angels to go and perfect all that concerns me.

It's well with his family IJN.

    1. @ Mosi, do you know now why people risk their lives to get to the western world?

Is it not better to wash plates and dead bodies as a means to an end to hopefully get a better job and life than die needlessly in Nigeria??

Don't knock it till you try it. Until the shoe is on the other foot, don't profess to know what people are going through to make them risk their lives for a saner society !!

  33. When people say pray for Nigeria or the prayer for Nigeria in distress in church, I find it difficult to do because to me its an effort in futility. This now will be swept under the carpet. An institution that is meant to protect lives will cause a live to be and something as simple as condolence visit will even be difficult.

RIP to the dead. If its to stand and collect bribe, they will come out in droves. May the officers responsible for this never know peace.

and we wonder why children of policemen never amount to anything (some), too many curses.

    it is well.
