Is hatred classified in the same category as dislike?I ask cos i am not perfect and there are some people i dislike ........Is it possible to love everyone?
Hate is too big a word to waste on anyone...Does the Bible preach against 'DISLIKING SOMEONE'? or is it the same thing with HATE?

ReplyDeleteLove as the bible suggests is to have a deep affection and commitment to helping persons who ordinarily do not attract that kind of attention. It is the reason as Christians who should love regardless. We are enjoined to love a person but hate the sin.
ReplyDeleteLike is to enjoy something or to regard something or someone in a favourable way. So yes Stella you may dislike someone but love the person.
You are doing the service because it is asked of you by God that's why you love. It is a duty. But to like is to do it because you are drawn to that cause or person. It is favourable for all concerned.
I dislike some people and I don't think I will go to hell for that.
