Labour Room Drama 130

Labour room drama with an HEEDIOT sitting nearby!

Hi Stella,
My LRD story was about 10 years ago when I had my second daughter.
Throughout the pregnancy of this girl, it was one issue or the other. At a point, she was sitted very close to my spine so I almost went paralysed and the amniotic fluid was greatly increased. I actually looked like I was pregnant with twins.

After 42 weeks, this girl didn't even behave like she was ready to come. I was in so much distress coupled with the fact that I was in Uni and I had to go to school everyday.

After the 42nd week, I went to the hospital to get induced. I remember the doctor jokingly telling me that the baby was very relaxed and enjoying herself there and wasn't ready to come at all o. See me see trouble! On my way out of the hospital, a nurse called me aside and advised me to finish a big bucket of ice cream and take plenty of ice cubes then take a stroll of about an hour. She said the baby will immediately be uncomfortable. I didn't really consider the advice until about 12 midnight when I told my mum who encouraged me to try it.

Luckily I had a big bowl of ice cream at home. I took a stroll that mid night in my estate and went to bed.
At about 3:30 am that night, I woke up from a sharp pain. I woke my husband up but he didn't answer me. Then my water broke and I rushed to wake my mum. My mum had to plead with my husband to take me to the hospital which was just 2 minutes drive the house. He grudgingly took me there and left me to carry my baby box myself.

On arrival at the hospital, the nurses quickly took me to the labour room. Then arranged a lot of gadgets on me.
Then the labour pain came all at once. I just started shouting o. Everybody in the hospital knew there was a black woman about to give birth. My supposed darling "husband " was just calmly seated on the couch in the delivery suite sleeping. When I called out to him to hold me ...he said he couldn't hold me because he didn't want to be injured. He said he valued his skin.

Then I started hitting the gadgets around me and guess what he said...." please don't destroy the hospital's equipment o....if you do , you will get arrested and I will run away". The midwife had to ask who he was. Long story short....he told the midwife he was going back to bed. That we should call him when I give birth.

As he was stepping out, the midwife just shouted I can see her head....please push....in 2 pushes the beautiful baby was out at exactly 4:30 am. The labour took approximately an hour but was the most difficult hour of my life. Anyway...we broke up 7 months after the birth of that baby.

*Seven months was too long, you should have broken up immediately.....Your story was almost like a Chronicle....it just killed the labour room expectation.

Hope you are fine?

    1. Maybe her ex husband is oyibo cos no Nigerian guy can say that. And from her narrative she didn't birth that baby in naija so its possible her ex isn't a nigerian

The way we dish out counsel... " hope you walked out of ur marriage " mm mm it takes 2 sides to maintain a quarrel, for a man to be so disinterested during labour points to the fact that it was a troubled Union... Poster was that his behavior during ur first pregnancy? BTW its not easy raising children alone in this vuhari times.. E-hugs

Don't do anything possible to become a Mrs, u might soon try to do all possible to be a Miss again. When d chips r down. God's time is always d best.

  21. Are you sure the baby is for him?
Or did u cheat on him and he found out?

before we draw into conclusion, it will good to hear the Man's side...

For me, i dare to say it is rare to see a man behave like this except he isn't sure the baby is for him.

    1. Even if she was carrying someone else's child. Part of being a normal human being is feeling empathy. She was in labor for pitts sake! And BTW I'm sure if d child wasn't his, that kind of man would have chased her away tey tey.

    2. Eeeeyah. Well done o. Clap for yourself na. The only reason according to you is she cheated. That thing that put the idea into your head didn't tell you it could be the man had a sidechick? Or that he's just a mean so and so? Again I say, well done. In fact, I repeat am, well done

  23. The most beautiful thing is the you had to break up with Him,typical nigerian woman will say :"where do i start from,he is the father of my children"...just remain strong. On the other hand its obvious you had issues before this time...you will also need to look inward..

  24. God forbid that kind horseband
