    1. I truthfully don't blame the rich when they marry themselves! It saves them a lot of stress!

People in thesame class of life understand themselves better!

I was one of those people who believed and still do(to an extent) that stuffs like this isn't totally right, but I am beginning to change my mindset!

There is something about poor people I don't like! They have this sense of entitlement that when they come in contact with you, all they think of is how to collect from you! They can drain you to the last drop and are never willing to learn how to become rich because they are so stingy to spend!

You visit them, you buy for them. They visit you, you buy for them! Dear Lord; is it that rubbish slang they have "you don't pour a cup of water inside an ocean"! Very annoying something!

So don't blame these people jare! Mingling with themselves is good for them! If you want to be like them, observe and learn! Most of all believe in yourself and learn to fucking GIVE even if it is pencil and stop BEGGING and feeling entitled! They worked for their money, work for yours...

    4. @ my opinion, your comment is on point!💯
Being poor is a state of mind. Most believe in begging and collecting, they never think of being an asset to that there friend who is an asset to them. But I have one step uncle like that, he doesnt have money oo, but he will use his body and work to show support. Thats how it should be but They will rather list their problems and excuses till thy kingdom come but they don't realise that everyone's got problems including the rich. They feel like the rich problems are not important after all, they should have the money to solve it while they on the other hand, just need money continuously to solve their own problems.
Being poor is a cause. Choose your associates wisely!

    6. Sincerely, my opinion that useless sense of entitlement is one among many signs and symptoms of the no good/no plan poor peeps.

      Delete
    7. My opinion, you really got me laughing. A poor person's sense of entitlement has got to be the eight wonder of the world, it can be cute to hear them go on and on about how they deserve better but never do anything to change their situation other than complain. Lol.

Being poor is a disease but a killer disease is expecting to be lifted out of poverty by someone else. That kind of mentality is why most people die poor. These guys marry each other because most of us will too if we were in their position, especially the women. It's a known fact women don't marry below their "standards". Lol.

Nice advice from ABIYAMO by the way, but I don't think it takes much intelligence to create artificial divisions like tribalism, as those who would buy into it aren't really that smart because being tribalistic is an indication of anything but intelligence and being an ardent supporter of a political party filled with people who lack the decency to at least fulfil their promises or a politician who is "obviously" corrupt would affirm the saying, 'Every nation gets the kind of government it deserves'.

Bernie Sanders said at one point, "government has a moral responsibility to guarantee everyone a decent standard of living" and Joe Walsh commented on that saying, "government is not responsible for your standard of living. The only one responsible for your standard of living is you. We are losing this country because the Republican party lost the courage to say that". While I admit Bernie had a point, I'd rather go with Joe.

From the look on the faces of these guys in the private jet, it does not seem they give a hoot about the hardship the country is facing neither will the children they will bring forth, so rather than sit and complain about how their fathers has subjected you to hardship, why not just wish them well and face what puts food on your table while devising ways to better your future? After all, there are people who have never left this country and are not into politics but are doing "very well" for themselves, i'm sure you know a few, so why not you?

    8. My opinion nice one! Being poor is truly a state of the mind.
permit me to brag: I have a nickname people call me - Princess. Right from university when I was barely getting by. Why? My attitude. My parents aren't the richest and I'm not the prettiest but ive always carried myself like royalty. Call it pride but some things are just beneath me. Till today I don't know how to say 'I don't have money'.those words never come out of my mouth even when I'm flat broke. Infact once the thought comes I start saying: I'm rich, I'm successful, I'm great, my future is bright, I live in abundance. And the thought just dies away. And guess what? Something always happens.

I went from the girl managing struggling parents money (we were 4 in uni at the time- 2 in private) to the girl who made 50k a week on selling human hair. I was just 21/22. How did it all start? I bought a book at the supermarket one day- The Secret. That book changed my life through positive thinking.

As years go by, my friends have changed, my association has changed, my thoughts keep getting bigger and bigger. And most of my friends who are still on that 'life oh why me' mentality, the friendships just dies a natural death. We become like oil and water. We can't mix.

Also, I've always been a giver. Things I've done for some people sometimes I wonder how I could. But guess what? It always comes back in folds. When I receive favours I smile cos I know that I'm reaping. Id rather give than beg. Me beg? Haha. Never. Even when I dont have enough I always give. Sometimes people remind me of things I've given them and I've even forgotten. But I keep praying to God may my hands always be on top. May I always win and not lose.

It's all a mindset thing. How and where you see yourself matters. Hear the stories of most wealthy men and you'd know you're not alone. Buy will you let challenges overcome you or you're willing to conquer? A poor man/woman can marry into a rich family if they have a different mindset. Poverty is a mindset. Honestly.
E.g: When you meet a rich man you're thinking if sleeping with him for rents, phone, car etc instead of doing business that can change your whole family. That's a poverty mindset you've stationed yourself as a hoe for life. You think these men don't know that you can do better? They do but they will never advice you. They keep giving crumbs because that's just who you want to be.

I can go on and on but I'd leave it here.

    10. @Chikito Oh, my! As I began to read your comment, I had it in mind to ask if you have read Rhonda Bryne's The Secret and just then u mentioned it. That book is wow! I've become familiar with the law of attraction over the years and it has worked tremendously for me when I bother to use it. Now, I'm more than convinced that it's a sure and easy way to progress. It's the book I'm currently binging on now. Almost done. If you like the theme, you can read Rebecca Clark's Macromind Power. Cheers.

    1. Allow them, they have made their choice. One thing the "commoners" don't know is this people face serious challenges. And when the gbege comes the commoners can not stand the problem. So what is the use of the commoners apart from bed warming?

  25. Who has time for naija problems? Like I always tell my friend, Nigeria's problem might be solved in d next 200-300 years, so I don't waste my time about naija issues, na how to carry my family come uk be my own, cos trying to make things work in naija is a total waste of time cos corruption has eaten deep in d system

  27. Very true I have experienced this.
I had been dating this rich hausa guy in Abuja for 2yrs, we had discussed marriage everything. We were so in love, so I though, his family knew me and I got on with them was even close to all his siblings. Though I am Yoruba. My family is doing very okay but I wont say we are rich, but very comfortable based in PH cos of my dads job as an engineer but lived in Abuja before.
From the start he always said he wanted to marry me that was always our plan.
The 2nd yr came, I told him dis is d 2nd yr you ought to cum see my parents as we discussed by dec. By then he was acting funny and distant.
What did I hear later, he had engaged an Hausa girl whose father was a senator. He kept denying it, until he later confessed. I knew just 2mths to d marriage.
He started telling me it was family pressure. The two families know eachother and arranged it.
If you are dating a rich hausa guy and you are not hausa or moslem, just give urself brain. Even if they marry a non hausa Christian, the girls family also has to be rich like Igbenedion daughter and Metu.
I have a friend that also experienced this.
I have learnt the very hard way. Forget anythn love, dey hardly marry outside except d girl is also rich.

You marry an igbo girl from a poor home, the whole of her family becomes your responsibility.
