Popular Lagos Socialite And Philanthropist Dokun Olumofin Shares Images Of His Foundation Work

The Dokun Olumofin Foundation, founded on January 2016,was launched on the 22nd September, on his 34th birthday.

Dokun says
''The Foundation was created primarily to reduce the child poverty gap in Africa and improve the lives of women with extreme financial challenges by raising funds from credible donors around the world. I have made it imperative to raise funds amongst my peers’,network of friends and business associates as well as the privileged in the community to help eradicate poverty in Africa. ..''

''The foundation is very focused on making a difference by improving the lives of women and children below the poverty line. There is an unbelieveabe amount of children and babies suffering from poverty across the various countries in Africa.

I have always loved children so it breaks my heart, to see children in abject poverty, some without clothes or a roof over their head and others in condition far worse than anyone can imagine. Their parents are unable to meet their needs and there is only so much the government can do to lend a helping hand. It's my passion to give back to the society and I would do everything within my power to improve the lives of children and women in Nigeria, Africa. We will also render support to indigenes of my home state (Ondo State) living in poverty ''.

The Dokun Olumofin Foundation is open to partnering with established organizations, credible individuals, established entrepreneurs and more towards achieving the goal of reducing and eradicating the child poverty line.

  8. If you want to make an impact in people"s lives,Organize a skill aquisition training for them, help them with capital(it mustn't be a huge sum ) to start up something.Giving them food doesn't just make sense cos they will always be hungry.
