    3. Why can't they create a system for people to have free food in this country at least. A homeless shelter or somewhere where they can eat even if it's a meal a day. Or food stamp or something.the rich waste food daily in their homes. Some big restaurants throw away left overs. Poor people don't have to suffer or steal in other to eat. Hunger is really bad. Pls always remember the less privileged ones around you and give out food atimes, dash someone even as little as N200 in a day.

    4. @dream girl, wot u just said is so right but nigerians r greedy and don't be surprised that the greedy ones are the haves and not the have nots. They don't wish to share not matter how little. Even if they now result to giving food stamps u will also be disappointed to know that it won't get to the less privilege but be shared amongst these greedy individuals that I'm talking about despite having more than enough. God knows best

  5. He did well. But my fear is that others should not follow suite. simply because he gave her money, which is like encouraging others to go and steal and blame it on hunger. You know how Nigerian's like to abuse privileges and good gesture. God bless you sir.

    1. Just remembered when I begged a client to help me instead he reported me to my boss, I was so embarrassed, now my boss is looking at me with side eyes, as if I stole.

The funny part of it all, my colleague that encouraged me when I told her about it denied me when she was confronted. To think I had opportunity to steal but didn't.

Now even if I'm dying, I rather sleep with men for money than beg.

      Delete
    2. Yes,she should'v begged. Cos when ppl see her baby they will feel pity and give her money.
But let me assume it was hunger that made her not to reason well, atleast she wasnt armed/with the intent of harming anyone. I dont feel sorry for those ones.

    3. But this woman should use that 10k and start up something.
She shouldnt steal again,Nigerians are not smiling. Recession hold everybody.

Do you know that you can no longer DRINK garri with #500?
      Milk:150
      Groundnut:100
      Okpa di okwu:200
      Sugar:50
Minus the garri and water ooo

If you can not afford drinking garri, how will you be able to eat rice and chicken in this buhari time?? Famine everywhere.

I know stealing is bad and I have zero tolerance for it; but this was a clear case of hunger. Thank God for the Commissioner who came to her rescue.

  16. He tried but i hope people wont take advantage of it.
The hunger in the land is bad, if its difficult for the average man what about the people that didn't have before.
Went to my neighbor's house and saw them eating eba this morning. I know some will say ehn ehn is that now a crime? No it's not, there were times i ate eba in the morning. Its just unusual for them cos these are people who'd normally eat what we call the ajebo food.
All i can say is it is well with Nigeria.

  17. Stealing is bad! But then hunger can push one into doing things they never planned to do. I feel so sorry for her

    ReplyDelete
  22. Rubbish. She should be locked up and her baby taken from her. If only we had an organised system! Are we even sure the baby is hers? She should have begged at least there's dignity in begging than stealing.

Watch the trend, very soon you'll see women stealing and blaming it on their kids. She stole, she's a thief.
