Leonard Dilcon, a former member of the house of representatives, claims that his wife, Joy, had carnal Knowledge with his pastor, leading to the collapse of their marriage.
Joy had in September 2014 filed for a dissolution of the 20-year-old marriage.
Speaking on Friday during the hearing of the divorce suit, Dilcon who represented Pankshin/Kanam/Kanke federal constituency at the national assembly, accused his wife of neglecting the marriage.
He said she had extra-marital affairs with pastor Danjuma Fwenji of God’s Grace Divine Mission, Jos, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports.
The ex-lawmaker said Joy and Fwenji had carnal knowledge of each other at her parents’ home and the church.
“Each time I try to resolve our differences with my wife, the Pastor will appear and confuse everything,” he said.
Fwenji who was present to defend himself said he never had sex with the lawmaker’s wife nor did he know her residence.
The pastor said she was brought to his ministry in 2006 for prayers and counselling.
He said the church had asked Joy to stop attending its programmes due to the challenges in her marriage.
“Ever since she stopped attending the church’s programmes, I have not seen her again,” he said.
Justice David Mann has adjourned the case to February 20.

Leo and Joy's marital troubles did not start today neither yesterday but it started during their courtship days around 95/96. I was a teenager then and in my junior class in secondary school when I got to know about Joy.
ReplyDeleteHe was my uncle's friend and as people were saying then that he was a gigolo at Abuja. That was how he made his money.
Joy was a student of University of Jo's and was madly in love with Leo. Several times Leo called off the relationship but she was always running to my uncle to settle them. Leo had to marry her due to pressure and also to cover his tracks.
It's shameful that after many years here they are.
Joy fell ill and so she sort prayers from their pastor at Plateau Church. After much prayers and she was still sick, then the pastor told her about Evangelist Danjuma Fwengji. He told her to ask for her hubby's permission which she did and he granted her. Later, Leo told her to stop going to the ministry. She told Evangelist Danjuma and he told her to obey her hubby and stay away from his ministry.
Since Evangelist Danjuma asked her to stop coming to his ministry then she started attending Global Flame ministry headed by Pastor. Danjuma Musa. I met her at Flame around 2007. One day Pastor Danjuma Musa called Joy during ministration and then he said that God told him that Leo will gift her a car but that she should not even use the car because Leo wants to sacrifice her. This was the genesis of their problem because since then Joy lost trust, love, affection etc for her hubby. Later Joy stopped attending Global Flame Ministry and the went back to GGDM.
GGDM is the most popular ministry in Jos and has members attendance of more than 10,000 in a meeting. I pray God to settle their differences for the sake of their children.
