Gov Ajimobi Versus LAUTECH Students - MUST WATCH

Abiola Ajimobi, the Governor of Oyo State addresses student protesters regarding closure of their school which had lasted over eight months.
You should listen to the interesting Discussion.....

He told them he wasnt the one that shut their school and when they kept protesting he told them to do their worst.

He told them they should have come to discuss with him but that since they were not corporating he was not ready to talk to them anymore...He told them he is the constituted authority and remains so...The students kept boo-ing him.

    1. He is a disgrace to his office. Wow!!! One expected him to know better. Don't blame him after all his spoilt superficial shallow kids went to school abroad where no Governor will address the student in the manner that he just did. He is a disgrace not only to the office of the governor but also to his kids for his action

    1. He thinks he is in hus house that he expects respect and eye service. He has carried his respect respect attitude to a govt office. Nobody cares about if you are agbalagba or daddy in govt. Do ur job and stop expecting people to prostrate or kneel down. Respect syndrome

If it was during Jonathan's era now we won't hear word! Hell awaits all of you. Efcc is preparing your cell down. He should be impeached or at least sanctioned. 1. You said it right. His kids should be embarrassed by his action. Guess what, his kids live off his money. The eldest opened a shoe store that couldn't cover the overhead but just to help his father launder stolen money and other kids have no meaningful job. There you go Mr Foolish Governor

    2. Very stupid insensitive and downright disgraceful! He can't know what it feels like for Schools to be on strike for a single month, that's why he easily discounted 8 months! Completely disconnected from the plight of the population he's meant to be serving, yet still expecting and demanding for respect! I'm ashamed to say I'm from Oyo State. Governor Ajimobi, you're a power drunk hypocrite! Idiot talking about how he is the constituted authority! What a load of crap! How I detest Nigerian leaders!

The right thing to do would be a swift retraction and apology to those students. Yes we know he doesn't have the funds to improve the system but he could have demonstrated empathy, sympathy and sensitivity to the plight of those students instead of asking them if he's the one that shut down their school!!!
Stella please post this. His daughters probably read your blog and may be able to communicate the reactions on social media to their very ignorant parent! I hope they are as mortified as the rest of us.

    3. Dr S God bless you. U said it al.. this man is a power drunk loser demanding respect like his life depends on it. Respect is earned so you cant be talking to students like a fool and expect them to respect you. He makes my skin crawl. My God deal with you and your offspring and their offsprings in ways that you will look for tears and not find. There are some things prayers cannot avert- God is not mocked for what anyone sow they must reap. U will reap the evil works of your hands Ajimobi. Oloshi!

    1. At anon 14.11 You are stupid for your insensitive comment. Are you Abisola his daughter the Queen of superficiality? They were serious than his unserious, superficial, spoilt kids doing nothing tangible except the cover up shoe nonsense store. EFCC will soon catch up on him and his children just like they did with Obamikore and his kids

    2. Anon 14:11- I am sad that you don't realise that leaders like Ajumobi have directly and indirectly contributed to your inability to contribute to an argument intelligently. Your comment is full of errors, your argument is linear and over-simplistic and your conclusion lacks depth and substance.

If leaders like Ajumobi don't have immeasurable and inequitable wealth (which they never hesitate to flaunt) whilst the rest of the population languishes in poverty, then perhaps the riches of the country would have been evenly distributed and our educational system would not have produced commentators such as yourself who are clearly products of defunct academic institutions!

Do you get my argument? I suspect not.

    3. Anon 15:55 you are the stupid one here. They are students not tout so they should not let their emotions cloud their common sense by disrespecting the constituted authority.. And your grammar is pathetic go back to primary school please.

    4. You must be a yoruba man. You think everything starts and ends with respect. Using respect to cover up everything. I hate it when people try to use respect to manipulate others younger than them or below them. It is a public office and he is a public "servant". It is his job to calm them down and make things right not expecting them to come and beg him like a father. He is not their father but their governor and he has failed them. It's high time my yoruba people realise that respect is not food or something you use to bully people. Allow people express themselves.

    5. Anon 14:11, I think you need to check your dictionary for what a protest means. Obviously seems you expected the students to write a formal letter to the Governor, After which the protest will be held on a round table all in the name of a constituted authority.
The school has been on lock for 7months, imagine you being stagnant for 7months, if you want pray to God over it sef no be with aggression and pain? Much less if it were cause by a mortal like you. Shior

    6. So what's the 'you must be a Yoruba man' line of argument about? This doesn't make sense to me and I'm Yoruba so what are you on about? You people must bring tribe into everything.

      Delete
    7. MrsB the governor brought tribe into the matter. Instead of addressing the issue, he was more concerned with the fact that they didn't come and beg him. My argument is that the tribe lays too much emphasis in respect whether due or undue.

Ajumobi is one of the most louquacious governors in this country. You can never ever believe the extent he goes to when talking to people. The other day,he told pensioners in the state that it is not his fault that they did not train their children well and now those children cannot take care of them in their old age. So,they should not stresss him about unpaid pension.Just imagine such callousness. Is he the one that trained his children well ?Is the weed some of his dayghters smoke part of d traininghebgqve them?

  35. Very sad that he is responding to students who are demanding their right to be educated after they have paid their school fees that way. The government has no money means you the governor should be going to beg them to have patience and you need to show them exactly how you are planning to ensure that they obtain what they came to your school for. But you want them to crawl on their knees and call you Sir to ask for the doggone thing they actually paid school fees for because your daughters and sons attended schools abroad on the backs of citizens and are earning pay from you in all kinds of ways.....pay that could have been used to settle staff salaries. yet you open YA mouth and talk SHIT to the students. You are lucky you were not mobbed.
