I'm not a fan of waist trainers,I'll faint if I wear that thing.
    There's this one I learnt too,it's called SASSY WATER;
You wash and cut cucumbers into slices, add your washed and sliced gingers with lemon juice and water, put it in a jug allow it to infuse for some hours then drink the water all day!
Stella,I must get my flat tummy back oh!

If all men can be like the ones above, caring, sensitive and understanding, most women wouldn't have issues. All my life, I don't think I've ever had flat tummy cos I've always been "boku". I kept hearing "it's baby fat, she'll outgrow it", "awww she's so cute, se enye mfuk(see her cheeks)". For me, my teen years were the worst cos no matter how and what I ate, I was still fat- on top of being really active o. Played football with boys, basketball too. Thank God for my mum who helped me build self confidence cos I was almost suicidal at a point. Now, big stomach or no, I tell my self I rock. I project confidence and those with PHD syndrome are so not spared my tongue lashing for their ignorant utterances. What's this epistle about? Love yourself at all times

Doesn't mean you should now be non challant about how you look.
My Tommy is perfect flat prepregnancy but I love my body.

Am I now eating stupidly using pregnancy as an excuse? No
Am I trying to work out? Yes
Is the Tommy flat 100%? No.

We should be proud of our bodies, but let's still be taking care of it.
    Love you all.

  15. I use to undergo vigorous exercises once I give birth to ensure I get my tummy flatten. Although the tummy never actually went back to its normal size but I try my best.
For my last baby,I didn't stress my self. For once I ate as I like, rested well. Hubby always says I stress too much. This time, I'm taking my time before I start exercising.

For does that are depressed, please look at your baby and thank God for safe delivery,if you are dead, you won't worry about a flat tummy.

For the male, shame on any man that will cheat on his wife becos her tummy is big. Encourage her, when she is strong enough, both of you can enroll in a gym together.

  16. One woman was complaining bitterly the other day. She said she had C-section and couldn't tie her tummy due to the pains she was going tru at that time. That she had flat tummy before she got married. As a matter of fact, it was Dat flat tummy that attracted her to her hubby. And now, her tummy is so big that her husband finds her irritating. Hian? I was like, na WA o. So, ur husband married ur flat tummy, not you. πŸ˜’πŸ˜’πŸ˜’πŸ˜’πŸ˜’πŸ˜’πŸ˜’

  19. Forgot to speak about the second issue. We are women and future mothers-in-law, empathy should be the name of the game. That you were spared painful periods doesn't mean others were too. If a woman is finding it difficult to conceive, pray with and for her. Don't add to her psychological and emotional trauma. In also trying to empathize, please avoid saying "I know how you feel" cos you really don't, except you've been in the same shoes. Men, please support your wives on every way you can and don't demean them. Put yourself in her shoes and support her the way she'd support you if you have low sperm count. Finally, let us always pray untirelessly. If you are single, pray positivity to your womb, future husband and marriage. By the time you get into the institution, things will just fall into place(na so them tell me and I'm practicing. Hopefully, it will bear positive fruits when I get married). Make I copy some BVs and say SELAH

  24. My take on this is that we should love our bodies regardless of how it is esp after childbirth.... That we love our bodies does not mean that we should be lazy in taking care of it because if it looks good,we in turn feel good and confident. Work out,eat right and even if u don't get your flat tummy back, your body will be firm. Don't just let yourself go. At the end of the day, self love is important.

    Ok bye! G2g

I know it's not easy for some too (especially those that had their babies through Cesarean section), but I just can't stand how some young lady will leave their body after giving birth to just one child. I saw how one was eating a large portion of amala the other with the excuse of eating for two; because she was still breastfeeding her baby (1yr old baby). She refused to work on her body and also to control her appetite.

Kudos to all the mothers who are working hard to remain in shape.
