MMM May Not Survive This Week -ALLEGEDLY

Help Providers on popular Ponzi scheme in Nigeria MMM have said that the scheme may not survive the new week.

There are indications that the final crash of Mavrodi Mondial Moneybox, a ponzi scheme popularly known as MMM, may be nearer than expected as more intending help providers (Provide Help) continue to renege on their promises to pay help seekers (Get Help).

Promoters of the scheme had re-awakened the interest of many subscribers when it announced the return of the scheme on Friday, January 13, a day earlier than the expected return date given, but the euphoria that greeted the unfreezing of the scheme was short lived following the inability of members to get paid.
While announcing its return penultimate Friday, operators of the scheme had announced that the scheme would attend to small investors first while subscribers with bigger financial commitments would have to wait a bit longer.

This was, however, not to be as the applications of those who signified interest in getting help (GH) were cancelled while intending help providers (PH) were put on hold. Promoters of the scheme had attributed the delay to upgrade of the system.
However, when some help seekers (GH) were eventually matched with intending help providers (PH) on Friday, findings by Daily Sun showed that a good number of intending help providers reneged on their promises to pay.

Some mavrodians, who spoke to Daily Sun correspondent, blamed the failure of help providers to fulfill their promises on the growing uncertainties surrounding the scheme. A subscriber, who simply identified himself as Michael, said he refused to pay the help seeker he was matched with because he no longer believed in the scheme. “I was paired to PH but I declined because I am not sure if I will ever get my money back. Some people I know to have been paired have also declined to pay. The way things are unfolding, the scheme cannot survive this week,” he said.

Narrating her inability to get help despite having been paired, a subscriber who gave her name as Rolake, said: “I was paired to get help but none of my PHs has responded.

When I called to remind them yesterday, two of them promised that they would pay me but when I called them this morning neither of them picked my calls,” she said.

But while many help providers continue to ditch the scheme, Sunday Sun gathered that there are few others who are still willing to give help.
Subscribers, who belong to this category, it was gathered, are largely those who have their money trapped in the system and who have also signified interest to give help.

One of them who claimed to have N200, 000 trapped in the scheme said he was compelled to pay somebody yesterday because of fear of losing his money.
“I paid somebody yesterday because I don’t want my account blocked. I have N200, 000 in my account before it was suspended last year and since I had also indicated intention to provide help.

If I didn’t provide the help, my account would be blocked and that simply means I would lose all my money,” the subscriber who gave his name as Ebuka said, adding that, “it is easy to back out only if you don’t have money in your account.”

From Daily Sun.

    2. You need to be realistic. Someone has 200k stuck there and you are asking them to PH before thru get there money. What if the 200k is all the money they had?? Where are they suppose to get another money to pH? ?
From what I heard, they already planned it to crash by December. That was why they did the whole freezing thing. Because they had options instead of freezing account

They could have said people should pledge help to get help and there should be a limit of the amount to pledge help it get help so that people won't runway. But they closed. Now bringing uncertainty. You don't expect people to put there money in something thru weeks sure off

As if thats not enough, they are canceling orders saying upgrade of the system. Why wasn't the system upgraded in the one month they were on break..

I hope for the likes of those who put in a lot of money that they pay because this period isn't one to loose money at all.

      Delete
    3. Exactly fan... They planned it.
See en they knew pH bf u gh would sustain the system yet they refused to implement it....
Didn't u wonder why? Those thieves sent letter from the so called founder today.. ND tomorrow it was frozen.
Everything was planned, they kept using the money for charity works etc.... Cruddy has been silent Cox him ND his wife relocated to Phillipines.

For a financial system to work there has to first be a pool of money in an account, money must be invested to birth money.with pyramid schemes there is only collection and recycling of people who pay. The only winners in such a scheme are the up liners. My dear wake up,it never had a chance.

  30. When I heard about MMM during my holiday in Nigeria .
My ist question was ' where is the 30% profit coming from ?

Simple logic told me this was outright a very unrealistic Ponzi scheme

Then I heard of ultimate cyclers ... I think it was put in 12k5 and you get 50k . If you sign 4 people under you. There is a clause ...

    Then I did the Mathematics.. 12k5+12k5 *2=50.

This even made logic maths than MMM.

But at the end of the day ... it becomes saturated and diminishing returns precedes..

    Ponzi schemes are not sunstainable
    People won't hear.

I can never participate ... my brain is just too analytical for all these.

  40. MMM crashed in December when they went on 'break.' Nigerians, especially the unenlightened/illiterate ones, are such a gullible lot. That's why the same thieving politicians deceive them over and over again.
Now they are blaming Stella for exposing MMM for the crashed Ponzi scheme that it is and even having the effrontery to insult someone that they would still come and beg for money.
Who sent you people to be investing money that you don't have? Some even borrowed to do MMM *surprised look*. If these people had analytical minds, they would never have joined MMM because they would have understood that the scheme was a ticking time bomb. They saw 30% and jumped without thinking it through.
Inasmuch as I feel sorry for those who lost money, you guys should take responsibility for your actions and blame no one (including Stella) but yourselves. Next time, make decisions carefully and don't be greedy
