    1. Very! I don't care if it's a popular line whose author died blablabla, this is a shame!
They couldn't come up with a well written speech without copying word for word a huge part of an already delivered speech.

  8. Part of the problem is that politicians, for better or worse, are not generally held to the same standard as authors, researchers and artists. Most people realize that the words from a politician are not wholly their own. They have speechwriters, image consultants and others working behind the scenes to help them craft the right message.Does this excuse plagiarism? Not in the least. But it does show that plagiarism accusations in politics are, generally, purely political attacks, especially when they are as questionably grounded as this one. I feel that this not only belittles the issues that are being ignored, but also plagiarism itself.

    1. With this depth of fuck up, what exactly are their speech writers paid to do? The President could have copied it himself. This boils down to lack of creativity and laziness...Microsoft word will give synonyms for the words in the speech but these idiots lack the creative ability to use that out of sheer laziness. This Presidency is already marred from inception thanks to stupid speech writers

  9. Clinton? U sef!

  10. The speech isn't Bush's original work. That part is a common quote from a man in the 1900's (can't recall his name). Y'all should use your data and do your research

  11. They should copy good policies and good governance not speeches written somewhere. Africa needs to wake up o!

  12. This is a DISGRACE.

    Lazy inept speechwriters.

No president worth his salt will allow his words be a mish mash replica of WHT others have said. And not even digging into history, just few years back. Major shame.

When Obama and Clinton had their speeches, where were they copied from?

  14. Well, he is allowed to borrow a line or two but to copy most of the thing if not all no jell at all. When they are busy with other thibgs other than creating their own speech from what vision they had befor they entered office. They never start work, dey don de copy copy.

  18. The man is an extremely intelligent lawyer/man who is articulate and eloquent in the English and French language (practiced law in Paris for years), do u really think he lacks that much words. Listen to the full speech in its entirety before u judge stupidly. He quoted several people whose line he borrowed and his communication director has come out to Apologize for over sore of not including the two names of these quoted lines which is ndc sore losers are pushing it to trend as though the whole speech was plagiarize from beginning to end. And by the way how about those lines from Bush was not Bush eithet but originally by Woodrow Wilson to which Bush himself never sited once when he used it in his speech.

We will not loose focus of what this special day means to us

These enemies of progress called NDCs who are simply sore losers seems to forget why they lost. Majority of Ghanaians don't care about no plagiarized blah blah blah cos even a blind bat knows about new president is more than able to write better speeches had he not designated it . What the voters care about and what the focus will be on after Monday is creating jobs for citizens not some plagiarized blah blah blah.

NDCs you have failed and will keep failing. Get ready to go to jail for stolen billions or exile in Syria or some shit like that cos under this man you best believe you will not go scot free with our stolen monies.

Most Ghanaians don't give a shit rather we are discussing the other great nice things he said that gives us hope. We have a lot of work to do and that's our focus.
