Nigerian Customs Intercepts 661 Rifles In Lagos

The Nigerian Customs Service announced on Monday that its Lagos State Command intercepted a truck carrying 661 illegal pump-action rifles along Mile 2 Apapa Road.

According to Comptroller General Hameed Ali, the rifles were concealed in steel doors and boxes in a 40-foot container being transported by a Mack truck. He told reporters in Ikeja that three suspects have been arrested.

  14. for the fact that the container pass through the port, before been intercepted on the road means many has entered the country.the custom officer that conduct the inspection and cleared the goods should be held responsible...
