Obama Bids America Emotional Farewell....

10 days to the end of his tenure Barrack Obama, the US president went to Chicago where he declared victory in 2008 and 2012 and gave a very emotional farewell speech to the people of America.

In his speech,he thanked America for their love and support,he also acknowledge Joe bidden,Michelle Obama his wife and his children malia and Sasha. He reiterated that America remains the wealthiest nation in the world.
While listing his achievements he said.....

''If I had told you eight years ago that America would reverse a great recession, reboot our auto industry, and unleash the longest stretch of job creation in our history...if I had told you that we would open up a new chapter with the Cuban people, shut down Iran's nuclear weapons program without firing a shot, and take out the mastermind of 9/11...if I had told you that we would win marriage equality, and secure the right to health insurance for another 20 million of our fellow citizens -- you might have said our sights were set a little too high.

But that's what we did. That's what you did. You were the change. You answered people's hopes, and because of you, by almost every measure, America is a better, stronger place than it was when we started.
Yes We Can.

Yes We Did.

Yes We Can.

Thank you. God bless you. And may God continue to bless the United States of America''.

It was indeed an emotional one. I'm sure there weren't many dry eyes when he ended the speech.

  10. Obama should go and die. He will be remembered as the worst president in human history. He destroyed Libya, he created and founded Isis, he is the grand patron of homosexuals. I can't think of anything good about him.
    He should be gone already.

  16. Seriously, I cried too. Didn't believe I could be that emotional over someone that didn't have an impact on me life. He's the most celebrated man right now and that makes me happy. I pray I have a powerful impact on people lives too

  18. Nigerians living in Nigeria always acting like they are Americans, all I am seeing here is a clear case of crying more than the bereaved. Well I will reserve mine for Buhari, Buhari please copy that speech verbatim, you will need it in 2019. So can we get back to business? What next?

  19. Certainly, going to miss my able, handsome and thoughtful President Obama and his gorgeous family. Just wondering where Sasha, the younger girl, was at the farewell address last night. All the same, thanks President Obama for making us all so proud. NMTA
