Service Year Boulevard 46

Take a walk down service year Boulevard and mail me with the gist..lol

Hello Stella and fellow BVssss. My service year gist is quite lengthy please bear with me. Please hide my ID. Enjoy!

I served in 2015 BATCH A. Where to serve was never an issue for me as my dad retired from NYSC, even if i want Aso Rock as my PPA #sideyes #joking . i already conspired with my mum to serve in Abuja so my bro in ABJ can sponsor my masters abroad, if he sees me in his house i can behave like a good girl and that way he will send me abroad for masters
#hadiknow. So when dad asked me where i wanted to serve i just told him ABJ but the person he told said ABJ can be difficult so she will put me close to ABJ i.e NASARAWA.

I did my online registration, then there was no option to choose preferred states, so all i did was fill my biodata and my size.

POSTING:
I was in school for clearance when people started shouting call up letter is online, na so i check mine for my phone and i saw NASARAWA #smile. I called le boo , though he didn't let me work it for him, he said he wants to "jinx it" , he chuckled on phone and told me CALABAR. I started sweating cos i have heard gist that calabar girls are cwazyyy #nooffence and as a fine boy my bf is.

CAMP:

I arrived Abuja the day camp opened but i relaxed till the next day before i proceeded to MAGAJI DAN YAN MUSA CAMP, KEFFI. My dad has gisted me about camp, the moment i got to the gate, i carried my bag on my head i didnt form any big girl, na my jwelries you go take know i be big girl. The soldier at the gate started laughing that he likes me i'm smart, i didint even answer. They searched and i entered, did my registration and got my top bunk bed. Stella, i can sew two khakis from my uniform. On swearing-in day, i could not slimfit the uniform i had to wear it like that and used the rope NYSC call belt to hold it. I had to hide the picture i took that day from my loved ones cos it was too funny. I didnt even upload any picture online till i adjusted the khaki.

I became the platoon's assist leader cos i am very lively and social. Chai! guys wont let me rest, i didnt date any cos i had fun going to Mammy with different guys, dating will limit my movement with guys so i decided to play along with all the guys disturbing me but i dont keep late nights.

NYSC lecture is sleeping ground. The only parts i enjoyed are 1) SAED woman that comes to sing "corper time na money oooo, no waka waka, no waste time for camp market" she has a funny intonation that makes all of us laugh and 2)the man that taught us HAUSA. He taught us how to say "i love you', ' i dont love you", "money" etc. The SAED i joined was catering, the woman was always telling us to contribute money to learn, i dont even go cos i already learnt catering and decoration when i was in school but i thought i would gain more but since she was requesting for money, i just bone. Stella come see menu, curry fried beans, salmosa cake #forgottenmostofthem.

Social night is always lit but i didnt participate much cos as the asst platoon leader, i am always tired form the day's activity. Parade is another story, chai! body pain all the time cos my camp commandant was always shouting 'shoot your toe' all in the name of marching.

My camp friend is one crazy girl, she told me she has gbenshed yoruba guy, ibo guy and now it's hausa guy that she heard they dont circumcise them so they are always endowed, i laugh anytime i remember. she was also the one in charge of our hostel so we run things alot, we had lesbians and smokers in our hostel. i remember the day she woke me in the middle of the night to see two girls, seriously caressing each other, we both shouted STOP THAT! they disengaged straight. i was so lucky i saw my period before going to camp so twas jolly through out and i wore disposable pants through out, i cant shout abeg.

PPA:
i was given two options, KEFFI which is closer to ABUJA or NASARAWA LG. i chose Nasarwa, cos i will be lecturing in the fed poly there. All this hausas wan kill me. They want to marry wife. i even remembered one lecturer that told me he was a virgin and he will like to marry yoruba and that he listens to xtian sermons #whoaskam?. The day i heard him talking about his wife to his colleague i just kept mute and passed beside them jeje.

I remember a lecturer that took me out once, the guy became possessive and i havent told him yes oooo. he calls me at interval asking me where i am, he even gave the phone to his mum one time, i had to run to ABJ to hide for a while. i was given a part-time course to teach, i went to class two times and i earned 40k just like that. They told me to stay after service and marry one of them that way i can become a full time lecturer, i ran a day after my pop but i went for my send forth sha and twas fun.

Le boo and i fought alot during service year cos gurls were always around him both old and young but we survived. he told me i have to learn some calabar dishes and i dont mind.
i got admission into University of Birmingham but i couldnt go because of the high exchange rate but i thank God i am working now.

Apologies for any typo and for the lengthy story. I hope i did not northwest your time #kisses.

I go lie if i tell you say I understand your sweet story...You had fun and thats what matters.

  9. After all the mouth wey you make say posting wasnt a problem, you were thrown to Nasarawa. Lol. Even when they kept saying no space in Abuja, they had to create for me cos orders came from up. As a big girl that i is. Your story was scattered. So you and your leboo served together? hope he can take care of you. Um sure leboo wanted to break out of your claws thats why he chose to risk it rather than allow you work it
