Wellbeing Foundation Africa Congratulates Amina Mohammed, Welcomes United Nations Secretary- General António Guterres

Founder-President of the Wellbeing Foundation Africa Toyin Saraki and CEO Stephen Sobhani congratulate the newly appointed United Nations Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed and welcome the new Secretary General António Guterres.




Mrs. Toyin Saraki extended her congratulations to Nigeria’s Amina Mohammed saying: “I am so proud Amina has returned to the United Nations to take up a well-merited appointment as Deputy Secretary-General, after diligent public service at home, I wish her every success and an incredibly productive tenure.”


“Myself and the Wellbeing Foundation Africa's Global CEO Stephen Sobhani are exceedingly happy that once again, we have a committed home grown global implementer to look up to and follow as Nigeria works towards the Sustainable Development Goals and assure you of our wholehearted support.” stated Mrs Saraki.

CEO Stephen Sobhani commended the new Secretary General, António Guterres: “As the new Secretary-General calls for 2017 to be a year of peace, we hold his words as a firm commitment. The Wellbeing Foundation Africa will continue to spread peace, protect, and uphold the health, wellbeing and human rights of everyone, especially the most vulnerable in society, the mothers, women, girls, migrants and marginalised groups.


 This year, will be the time we all stand globally united rather than divided, as we bring beneficial impact to families and communities, villages, towns, and cities, around the world”
