My Divorce Story -7

WHAT!!!!....Jesus Christ come down already!

Good Day Stella and Thank you for this platform. Here is my Divorce Story .

I was 18 years old when i got married to my first Ex husband. i got married because i felt that was the next thing on my Big-to-do-list. I was in my 3rd year in the university

(i skipped two classes in elementary school because i was a prodigy)

Back to my story, i was a weird little and adventurous girl who was interested in living out all her adult life before 20.I met my first ex husband who was 24 years older than me in a public place ( he looked rich and smelled of nice perfume) which was a requirement for me THEN. Few months later, we got married and then reality set in.

I realised he was very poor and never wipes his arse after pooping. It was so disgusting and whenever i complained , he will become violent and hit me at slightest provocation. The sham marriage produced a daughter .

My ex refused to get a job to support the family, so he turned me to an ashawo. His friends will pay him to gangbang me and humiliate me. If i ever complained , he will turn violent and ask me what use my beauty is.

God being faithful , i met a man 2 years later, who sent me to a therapist, arrested him and helped me regain my sanity. We got divorced and i have primary custody of my daughter .

3 years ago, i met an Oyibo man in PH( he was an Expat), things kicked off quickly because he was mentally stimulating and nice ( or so i thought ). We got engaged and i saw his true colour. He was a chronic cheat and even infected me with STD.

i broke loose again but with a stigma. At 25, i am a single mom to 2 kids from 2 different fathers. God in His Mercy is turning my life around and i know He will perfect His good works in due time. Amen

Lessons Learnt

1) Don't ever settle down with anyone because you think they are rich. i was a gold digger but i entered one chance.

2) Don't be in a hurry to your forever.

3) If you see yourself exhibiting some funny characters , please go for deliverance .

*OMG thank you for being so honest in this.I hope other gold diggers will learn from this cos gold digging seems to be in Vogue.May God heal you!
Tight hug from me!

    1. I just think this is funny because when women leave abusive relationships we congratulate them. But when they send in chronicles on what to do in an abusive relationship we encourage and even insult them that they must stay in that abusive relationship. If it was the first husband they would have told her to pray for her husband and clean his bum bum. The white man they would have told her to endure that all men do it

    2. God pls protect my marriage. Its at d verge of breaking. A strange woman has charmed DH. Older than him, he doesn't come home anymore, Beats me cos my sight irritates him and presently building a house for her. To think that we both suffered together to make this money has left a lot of people talking. I know God is watching and he will act in d right time.

    3. Anon 16.41, nobody charmed ur husband. Somehow, that woman figured out exactly what ur husband wants and is giving it to him. Women need to work on finding their man's button cos if another woman finds it, it looks like jazz

    4. Anon16.41,i have been there, but God saw me through, keep holding to God. Also don't forget yourself in the process, get a job, do business, lose some weight, be focused on your development while waiting.

    5. Anon 16.41, you better go get your charm and fight back
Anon 6.42 you must have serious self esteem issues to remain in such a filthy situation

    Wow!
You were shallow with your requirements.
You weren't looking properly, you just kept leaping. Why?

there are certain things to watch out for before plunging into marriage, sadly you overlooked so many.

Thank God you finally understood that.
You still have a chance of being with a good man.
the third may be the winning number. Just ensure to look, be sure before you leap.
    All the best.
And hey! Try to give your kids the very best.

Dear poster, this is what Job 22: 30/says " He will deliver one who is not innocent: Yes he will be delivered by the purity of your hands.

Isa. 61:3 To console those who mourn in Zion to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.
This the Lord will do for you, because of your openness. You didn't cover anything. You said it the way it is. God bless you.

One more scripture Job 14: 7,9 "For there is hope for a tree. If it is cut down, that it will sprout again, and that it's tender shoots will not cease...Yet at the scent of water it will bud and bring forth branches like a plant.

  22. Got divorced few years ago. I was in a relationship with this nice dude before I met my ex husband. I left my initial relationship because my parents hated my ex boyfriend for no reason. May be because they saw him as an opportunist and a broke ass. They thought he was with me because of their money. I keep asking myself why wealthy parents don't allow their children to marry outside the 'rich chain'. To cut the long story short, we later broke up. Dude got tired and said he wouldn't want to come between me and my parents. So, my ex husband came into the picture. He was a good man that I didn't believe my eyes when he started misbehaving. He'd cheat, bring gals into our home, he stopped providing for me. Thank God I had no kids then. I loved kids, and I wanted to have mine. But when he changed, I changed my plan. I started taking drugs after sex So I don't get pregnant. And I succeeded. Then, the big blow. He lost his job and became aggressive. He would slap me at any provocation, calling me all sort of names, accusing me of witchcraft and all that. I couldn't take it anymore, so I left. Ur even threatened to bathe me with acid. That he will disfigure me so that no man would want to marry me. I didn't take his threat lightly o. I just opened up to my parents and told them everything. My dad was pissed. We later calmed the situation. And I filed for divorce. We got separated and I moved on with my life. Guess what????? I married my ex boyfriend.. Dude literally waited for my marriage to crash. LMAO 😂😂😂😂. My dad never objected to our union again. We are married now with 2kids.

  23. Na really once chance o you enter. I wonder why women in Nigeria always feel that their destiny is tied to a man helping them. These days women are doing things themselves o... Thank you poster for this. We are women we can do anything we set our minds to and we really do not need to open our legs to do or get it. Some naija chicks like to dey feel among, them wan carry the best bags, the best hair, all the most idiotic and useless feeling of self worth. Why in heavens name is a 20 year old even thinking of a committed relationship talkless of marriage.... in Saying that, I got married young too, divorced young too. We need to get to know and love ourselves first before we attach ourselves to a man....Our destinies are not tied to anyman empowering us... This our mentality of wanting to be Mrs Somebody, we need to change it... you don't have to feel among....Try and attain heights for yourselves, love yourself before you can love anyone else... my own two cents. Me I too love myself.... i dey jump and waka pass, nobody love me pass me o...Dats the first step.

    2. Well I guess poster didn't want to wait to be called an Aunty Gwegs. Same as most ladies who rush into marriage. And that's the sad truth. Another truth is when you don't know what you want in life, people, situations and circumstances will throw everything at you and will keep taking it. Take your stand early in life. Decide on the kind of woman you want to be and keep going for it. As you go for it, you will love yourself and you will not want to associate with anyone who can't love you as much as you love you. And you will also find the right man because he will be on that path.

The world has changed people!! Men used to be more genuine than they currently are. Even women too!! Our parents married at 20-25. Because that was where the world was at the time. Today you NEED to be extra careful when picking a life partner because there are lots of factors to consider. And prayerful too! Of course many still marry younger and get it right but that's not the 'standard'. There is NO standard with these things.

But will they hear? Just wait.... a few more days and another 22 year old will be crying about being unmarried or another silly boyfriend in the chronicle section even after reading these stories 😊 Pikin wey no wan hear word no go hear....
