Senate President Saraki ET AL Visit Buhari

The Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki has led a four-man legislative team to visit President Muhammadu Buhari who is currently on vacation in London.

Others on the team include, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, Deputy Speaker, Lasun Yusuf and Senate Leader, Senator Ahmed Lawan.

The team left for London on Wednesday morning to meet with President Buhari who has extended his vacation indefinitely to attend to his health.
A source at the National Assembly confirmed this to Channels Television.

The President had on February 5, 2017 written to the National Assembly informing of his desire to extend his leave in order to complete and receive the results of a series of tests recommended by his doctors.

This was according to a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina.
“The President had planned to return to Abuja this (Sunday) evening, but was advised to complete the test cycle before returning.

“The notice has since been dispatched to the Senate President, and Speaker, House of Representatives.
“Mr. President expresses his sincere gratitude to Nigerians for their concern, prayers and kind wishes,” Adesina stated.

President Muhammadu Buhari embarked on a 10-day vacation on Monday January 23 and was billed to return to work on Monday February 6, 2017.
Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo has since been performing his duties as Acting President.

  1. In a sane country, Bubu would have been impeached.

What is this? Everyone going to visit him. As what? With state funds, I suppose?

    1. Name one sane country where he would have been impeached for going on a constitutional vacation? How many weeks does the constitution stipulates for the president as leave? People just make case for knowing nothing about what they claim. It is absolute false claim that you are making

    1. Sadly, this isn't any good news, so it has not in common with "great". It's only in Nigeria that an obviously uncoordinated president leaves the country for treatment abroad and the more stupid heads of the parliament are spending taxpayers money to go and see him. Nonsense!
