  1. HOW THE CRISIS STARTED

The clash reportedly started when a bus used his side mirror to hit an Hausa woman at sabo last night.

The Hausa men at Sabo market got angry and injured the driver with cutlass. By this morning, the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) boys retaliated and right now about five people are said to have been killed and others injured in the ongoing fight.

Gunshots are being heard while some shops have been set ablaze and residents have deserted both Sabo and Lagere, Ile-Ife, in bid to escape the clash.

Police and army personnel have been discharged to the area.

More details will be passed later.

Even a day old baby knows better than to mess with a Hausa woman. Their men come all out like apes, wielding dangerous weapons. Those people are too animalistic to live among humans. Too violent and barbaric. Every little argument must result to bloodshed. Too primitive a tribe. Tueh!

Anonymous 18:32, you're a beast. Lemme tell you a secret, your prayers can never go beyond the roof of your mouth wishing fellow creatures of God evil! Why are you guys so daft!??? Aren't we all God's children, made in his image? Forget blog yab & teasing, tribal bigotry is low, despicable!

    2. You are very correct about bigotry. But have you said anything about those hateful comments earlier made on this thread?

  23. Why won't there be tribal hate and war on this blog when the owner of the blog allows and encourages it. She wants the tribal war so she can make money from the traffic she gets. She really should be ashamed of herself for encouraging such hate on her blog and I'm going to report her blog for encouraging and inciting tribal hate and abuse so that it will be shut down. I will spread the word on facebook, other social media spaces and send out emails to all my contacts so that this blog can be shut down based on encouraging and allowing hateful comments. Enough is enough

I used to think she encourages it too, and for the same reason you gave. But I think she got tired, like fed up? Because really I keep wondering why she enables persistent tribalistic comments from the same BVs over and over, and of course the anonymous comments. Just last night, Stella deleted a post, because the person left too much space inside the comment! But turned a blind eye on all the horrible tribal comments here! Wow! House is on fire, but you choose to kill fly first!

    2. There's a positive spin to all these hatemongering-at least Yorubas now know their enemies.

  24. Very well said!! the only reason why the manipulative bitch and failed journalist posted your comment is so that her bvs can rain insults on you because of your comment but what is wrong is wrong and her supporting and posting hateful comments is wrong.

What an irony! Your comment is hateful, rude, insensitive and outright wrong, yet Stella posted!

See, we can tease and yab each other all day long, I even have 'customers' who I never miss an opportunity to yab! But you don't need to be rude or indecent. It's not nice, it's actually ungodly. Please, tone your hate, if not it will consume you!

  25. Well, I have been reading and decided to comment. I agree that Housas are aggressive and could be dangerous. Tell me any tribe that has not taken advantage of others, show me any tribe that love other tribes. You claim Housas are bad and you hail, support and even do the same actions they do that make you tagged them as bad people. Aren't you bad as they are?

What happened in Ile-Ife is barbaric. Housas are killed in multiples like useless animals. If I'm to estimate the numbers as I have seen myself ..not less than 50 dead and more than 80 at emergency in OAUTHC... Yes I was there!!!

This morning many of them have traveled back to Housa land... never to return
I blame Housas, Yorubas, Ibos ...and all that support any killings of any form.
If you hate someone for any reason.. you're not by any chance better than the person.
    Thank you.

  27. hmm really condemn this barbaric, tribalistic and irrational act of insanes and uneducated yorubas because you really show us that u are not educated like others just because of one nonesense woman you cause the death of more than 50 poeple shameful for any yoruba man claiming he is educated and history will judge itself one time
