Corps Member Who Wanted A Snap With Gov Fayose Given Automatic Employment.

Osamwonyi Bright Osas is a graduate of Political Science and Public Administration who is observing the mandatory one year National Youth Service Corps(NYSC) programme at the College of Education, Ikere-Ekiti.

Luck came his way as he encountered Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fayose when the governor came to Ikere Ekiti for on the spot assessment of the third phase ongoing Ado/Ikere road dualization on Thursday 20th April, 2017.

The governor had finished the supervision and was on his way to his bus when Osas accosted him, "Good afternoon Mr. Governor, I am a native of Edo, I relocated from Adamawa to Ekiti State because of my love for you, I follow everything you do religiously online, I love you so much and I pray God take you higher and higher.
I graduated from UNIBEN with a first class in Political Science and Public Administration, one thing I pray thee Sir, please allow me snap with you Sir", Osas who was in NYSC outfit begged.

Without blinking an eyelid, the governor obliged and photographers did the needful. Immediately after this, the unusual happened, "go to the provost tomorrow, tell her I asked her to give you automatic employment", Mr. Fayose said. Osas who was overwhelmed by the governor's gesture went on his kneels in appreciation, thanking God and governor Fayose for the favour.

  23. "go to the provost tomorrow, tell her I asked her to give you automatic employment"... When this kind of authority exist in a society, then the society is far from liberation! This is sad without hating on the young chap but just to show how far behind we are.
    God Bless Nigeria.

    2. @ Nick...You're the psychotic idiot that can't comprehend! Automatic employement verbally also means the governor can verbally sack a government worker without recourse to the law. So much power centered around an individual because of the office he holds. There's nothing wrong with giving him a job but at least, tell him to interview the Provost & if he's qualified, he should be offered employment.

    3. I'd liken your case to a horse tied to a plastic chair which has refused to move just because there's a rope round it's neck... The horse without effort will move around with the chair but just the thought of the rope round it's neck reduces his thinking to been fixated. You my friend (Nick) is suffering from same enslavement, you look at your hands and legs without seeing the shackles. It's called Mental enslavement if you can sprue that rubbish.

  29. So they can easily give youth employment like this..smh

    ReplyDelete
  30. Doesn't this show everything wrong with this country? No respect to process or procedures.

Every youth should have a job. It should not be the governors place to DASH someone a job before confirming if he is competent. Is he the most qualified person for that position?

What if people hat have already applied???

That's why you can give someone a job and when he gets there transformers will start falling and killing people.

    Happy for him o.
