Former EFCC boss, Farida Waziri loses husband

The husband of ex-Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Farida Waziri, Senator Ajuji Waziri, is dead. He was a former Nigerian ambassador to Turkey.

Senator Waziri was said to have died on Easter Monday after a brief illness.
Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari has commiserated with his family and friends.

The President’s condolence message was issued in Abuja, yesterday, by Mr. Femi Adesina, his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity.

Joining the diplomatic corps and the National Assembly in mourning the demise of the former diplomat and lawmaker, President Buhari noted that Waziri worked hard to improve the conditions of his community and the country, as a public servant, who served in many capacities.

The President extolled the humanity, integrity and purposefulness that Waziri brought into all his responsibilities.
According to him, Waziri’s wise counsels, insight and forthrightness will be sorely missed.

Buhari sympathised with his wife, former EFCC boss, Farida Waziri, the children, and the government and people of Gombe State.
He prayed God to receive his soul and grant his loved ones the fortitude to bear the loss.

    3. Be careful what you wish for. Freedom is yours if you want it. But thinking wishing your spouse death will set you free then you have something else coming your way. Kontinue waiting for widowhood ....karma is a beautiful bitch.

    4. I hope you know you can free yourself instead of waiting for someone who might even die after you to peg off. Why not just get a divorce if you feel this bad being married? I just can't with some of us Nigerian women. You want to keep up the fallacy of being a virtuous wife to the outside world but you are dying inside. Mschewwwww!
