  3. Stella, My concern is on the pilot that will fly the Aircraft in Nigeria. Adequate measures should be taken in that regards because we would not like what happened in the past to repeat itself.

    1. Pilots hit the coordinates and targets given to them...you can't blame them for carrying out orders

  4. I thought the war against Boko Haram has been won and Sambisa forest has been taken over by the military? The resources should be channeled into other sectors, the health sector for instance.

    2. In my opinion, we don't need this now. Boko Haram was defeated without those aircrafts. Other sectors are in dire need of the funds. The aircrafts shouldn't be completely ruled out, but definitely not now.

  7. The war facing Nigeria, even 1000 fighter jets would not be enough to win it. The war is more of spiritual than physical. May God in his infinite mercy, fight this war for us.

  8. $600m for a squadron of refurbished A29s that Obama's administration have been blocking since 2015. Not worth it if u ask me. The Su25 Scorpion is 20% cheaper, is a jet aircraft, better armoured and has a better payload.

If we need anything from the US, its the AH1 Supercobra attack helicopter or the A10 Warthog jet and not this Brazilian second-hand.

Stella, any news about the Navy's Corvette orders from China? Only 2 of 10 have been delivered since 2014.
