No Movement On The Island Today Because Of Adamu Orisa Play

Adamu orisa play also known as the Eyo festival is happening today all over the island.




This is always a joyous occasion,because people you haven't seen for years will come out to take part...

Eyo Adimu and Eyo Laba are especially interesting to watch.....

The Adamu Orisa will be filled with dignitaries,judges,commissioners,and there will be lots to eat and drink,...
There will be no Movement on the Island today..

  5. Who is saying there is no movement today. There are just certain areas that will be closed off. That Elegushi side,oba Elegushi palace and probably some parts in Lagos island especially oba of Lagos palace in Lagos island.
    Iv been out this morning and there is movement.
    Ambode can't shut down the whole of island.

Feeling mischievous as regarding this eyo masqueradeπŸ˜†.sebi there's one festival(Oro) prior to it that forbids women to be seen outside,what if I disguise as a man by wearing a big agbada with my hair covered properly with those Arabic turbans for men abeg will the spirits be able to tell me apart..Would probably do this anytime I'm in Lagos during the festival because I've been planning this since I was a kidπŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†

  7. They didn't say no movement. Some areas will be closed and there are so many dos and donts concerning the festival. If you can't adhere, stay indoors

  12. There is movement. Just that some areas are not accessible. Ikoyi-Awolowo as an example is sealed off.
