Word For Today -What Makes You A Man?

One day, a woman walked into a shopping mall with her son.

Just beside them was a bulky looking man on a weighing scale trying to check his weight. The young lad in his curiosity, peeped to see what the man weighed.

To the boy's amazement, the man weighed way below expectation, judging from his bulky look! Asking his mum what she thought about his observation, the woman responded; weight is not determined by the outward appearance, but by the bones and other inner contents.

A while ago, I overheard young unmarried girls discuss among themselves, they say "let the guy be rich first, every other thing that follows, we'll manage!"

In the 21st century, our maidens tend to picture a real man to be one broad shouldered, tall, 'athletic looking', dark skin, rich oil boy. but they sure need to chang their perspective. Because truth be told, the Uniqueness of a Man is hidden in his values and not in his outward appearance. The quality of a man's decision and his disciplinary level all lie underneath his value system.

The truth is, the development of every man is shaped by his childhood experiences. MANHOOD IS ROOTED IN CHILDHOOD!

While courting him, don't get too carried away by his financial abundance that you focus on eating Chinese and forget to discuss your values. Baby girl, trust me, MONEY CAN NOT FIX EVERYTHING! Money can buy you material possessions, but not peace of mind!

Don't get me wrong, looking good is good business any day any time, and money is also very important! But that can't be all there is to a man!

Do you know his habits? Are theystuff you can cope with? How does he manage money? Is he miserly or extravagant? Any one of both isn't fine! Does he have self control over women? These traits are oftentimes not seen in the outward appearance, they are hidden in the inner man. There are too many "Little children living in big bodies!"

Jesus, the most powerful man that ever lived was the Lion and the Lamb! His lamb nature was used to strengthen and encourage the weak, while His Lion nature was used to put the enemy and his cohorts on the run! A real man is a protector and not a destroyer. Jesus' strength was not revealed on weak people.

Ladies, any man that desires too much authority over you that his authority deprives you of being you, that's too much power for any man to get!

There is a difference between Loyalty and Slavery!

  5. Ermm true though.. But I still look at the outward appearance.
If you are fat as a man, don't approach me (I'm fat enough for the two of us😩)
If you don't have money, please don't approach me. I'm not the kind of person to ask guys for money, but I don't can't deal with a guy that have no money either
If you are short, don't come near me (I'm short enough for two of us)
If you are light skinned, stay away.

The unbiased truth is just as men are moved by what they see and have physical requirements for ladies, ladies too do the same thing.

  9. I don't need you to be all designer wearing...

I just need to see that you are intelligent, hard-working and driven.

As at when we started dating, my man was hustling to get his Ph.D sponsored, he was so hard-working about it that I kept telling God not to dash his hopes. He won a grant and he is now in a country where the exchange rate of their currency is more than half a thousand naira.

Last month he sent me almost my salary as "upkeep".

I have dated fine boys, rich boys...those ones are just for flaunting (boyfriend material).

Husband material goes way beyond the physical.
My parents are 34 years in blissful marriage, and i have learnt it's not about the money or physical looks. Those things dwindle and fall after years.

  10. This write-up isn't for the type of ladies that populate this blog. Eat your "values", "Disciplinary level", "quality" and "decision". All they need is money, money and more money. Preach "quality" and "values" to them, and they will tell you only "broke ass" niggaz do that. It tells you their values though.

Love em dark, very clean, with a good build.

      NO potbelly.
NO fat. (Never dated a fat guy) How una dey cope? Nyama. Tueh.

Don't really care if he has 6 packs or not, s'long as he's healthy.

Why should men care if women want 6 pack or not?

Is it not the same men who are always demanding big breasts and ass?

In your life, have you ever heard a man say 'Ah, I really don't care how a woman looks, as long as she's kind, meek and is happy?'

Na lie! Na so so fine face, big nyash, big breasts they want. All of them.
When you say you want a fine sexy man, they will start whining that you are not serious, that that is not the important thing. Na so, so make I con marry person wey be like water dispenser abi?
Enough of women lowering their standards, abeg go for what pleases your eyes. If you like go and date one fat potbellyd man with knocking knees and scaly scaly skin because you want to appear virtuous. Na you sabi. But if you like that kind of package do you jor.

  17. The first step we must take in becoming the man we are meant to be, is to realize exactly who we are, what our strengths and weaknesses are, and what we can offer the world. Nobody is perfect.
A man doesn’t stand still while the world passes him by, he continually pushes himself.
A man treats women with respect. If you don’t respect women,well.....

Any way what do I know.
