Five Things No One Knows About Actress Adesua Etomi

Adesua Etomi, Nollywood actress, says she is very passionate about children and will probably play mother to “many”.

The actress, in a recent interview, said

“At some point, my ten-year-plan or maybe even less is to open an orphanage and I love children and I’m very passionate about people and children that need help so I feel like like I’m going to be a mum to many,” she told Guardian Life.

Etomi, 29, said that she sang in a choir for 10 years before she ventured into the movie industry.

“I’m left handed. I’m not a fan of handbags and jewellery. I think Will Smith is perfect. My mum is a pastor and I sang in a choir for ten years,” she said when asked about the five things no one knows about her.

The ‘Knocking on Heaven’s Door’ actress said she was able to keep her relationship with entertainer Banky W a secret because she keeps a small circle of friends.

In May, the actress announced her engagement to the Afropop singer after keeping their relationship away from the public for more than a year.

“I’m very particular about my inner circle, you can count my closest friends on one hand and that’s because I believe you just need a few good friends, I am very friendly to everybody else,” she said.

“Also my family, my mum, those are the people that keep it all together for me and they are always there and you can’t beat that.”

    1. Bitter much? Can't you just wish two people in love well. Does it matter if banky falls in love with a supermodel or a deformed illiterate from a remote village? Its love, celebrate it.

    2. Excuse me! What did you just say? I'm not really a fan of Nollywood celebs but i take that as an insult..
What is so fantastic about banky that's too much for adesua? Its by God's grace that he didn't end up with a closeted runs girl with the way he was living his life on the island. #IMO Adesua is too much of a decent chic for banky so don't even go there. Beauty ko, sophistication ni. Is that what makes a home? Thats how you men do and carry demons and put inside house and say its wife.
Mind you!! ADESUA IS BEAUTIFUL and classy and from a good home. So choke on that!!
What rubbish? Banky that has a reputation with video vixens has now become an endangered specie?? Let me not even spoil this post. Wish them the best and port away.

    1. You are a very bitter person lafresh. You just believe that you alone is living the good life and other's own is made up. You are very arrogant and a snob. Your real self is showing up. Take for example the way u always shade Ideato in most of her posts. Either you say something sarcastic or u shade her silly like u did under lady bug's comment but I noticed that she's scared to call u out. Stop this attitude. People are living the good life more than you. Wetin u don see for life? Living on the island is your greatest achievement

    2. Scared to call who out?

If I have issues with lafresh, I'll call her out to my satisfaction. I need no reminder

  15. Adesua fine girl 😍

    I have a question:
Why is it that parents who are neck-deep in church activities must involve their children? 'My mum is a pastor' 'i sang in choir for 10 years' that's very cliche with church-raised kids. But i like the fact that 'church kids' usually do well and try to live life around certain principles.

    1. I think they are expected by the congregation, general public and sometimes the parents themselves to help bolster and communicate a positive image of their parent(s) - the pastor(s). It's either that or they go off. They do not have the choice of being in the middle, some have grown to resent the pressure.

    2. @Pure Nigerian TRUE!! What's that passage that says that a deacon must be a man of one wife and have his children from her and they should all abide in christ as an example to others. Bla Bla. Now, I guess that's the blue print for them.
The resentment though... you know what I find? They usually always return in repentance. The seed sown germinates. But that pressure
... its usually not easy on the kids. And until they have the Same/similar level of understanding the parents have, they will keep doubting. Eventually, i think everyone needs they own GODSPERINECE to build their faith. Like Nicole Mullen sang 'You cant keep living in granny's angel'.

  18. Anon 10:46, so Adesua isnt pretty the way she is? if she was fat now, world people like u will say she is fat. Now she is slim like she will break the next minute, u still say she's not pretty. Maybe because she doesnt paint her face and look like a caricature art work like the other actresses we see.....well, its her choice and less is more!

By the way, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Banky saw those ones you consider pretty but chose Adesua over them.....meaning it takes more than beauty to keep a man. Let's see your pictures too, maybe then, one would know what your definition of beauty is.

  19. Chikito, its very normal nau. How do u expect one's parent to diligently serve God and then watch their kids go the opposite way? Its just OK for such parents to tag their kids along with them even as they strive to make heaven.

  21. Bank W struck gold mehn. Such a decent girl, good heart, tight little good family, prayerful, playful, she can sing too!, so much wisdom, hardworking, industrious, not a gold digger, mostly natural, so real, no faking. That's why he would always add thank God she accepted his proposal. Banky is so smitten and appreciative of the person that she is. He struck gold!

Both moms are pastors, no be small prayers they are putting into heavenly banks for these two. No weapon fashioned against them shall prosper, what God has put together in Bubu~Susu 2017, no man will put asunder. They have very prayerful moms who speak children, love, goodness, favor, multiplications in all their endeavors, blessings of Abraham, protection, good health, long life prophetically every day into their lives.
