RE - Nigerian Man Brutally Pulled Out Of A Train By Inspectors in Germany

There are different sides to every story and I am going to tackle the other side of this one......

The probably seen it cos it is viral but story goes thus..

A 48-year-old Nigerian man was brutally pulled out of a train by Inspectors of the S-Bahn Munich in Germany.

The two ticket inspectors of the Deutsche Bahn German train system were caught on camera savagely dragging the Nigerian man out of a train after he reportedly refused to provide his ID and pay a fine for not having a ticket.

The man could be seen vehemently clinging on metal handrails, as two men in uniform ferociously battle to get him out of the suburban S-Bahn train, headed to Munich city center from the airport.

Natalia Miletic who filmed the incident and posted it on Facebook, can be heard telling the inspectors: “It’s absolutely not OK what you’re doing, the guy didn’t do anything to you.”“You should be ashamed of yourself, this is racism what you’re doing,”. “Why are you doing this? He paid.” The woman continues filming until someone seemingly tries to stop her.

The man, said to be a 48-year-old Nigerian, was reportedly removed from the train at Leuchtenbergring station.

He appeared to have no valid ticket as the inspectors came up to him during the check. They then asked him to show an ID card and pay a €60 fine ($68), according to the witness who filmed the incident and later described it to HuffingtonPost.de.

The man, however, only had €9 in cash, which he reportedly needed for food. The inspectors collected the €9, saying he still owed the rest.

Deutsche Bahn, the company operating trains in Germany, said it was “unusual to receive only partial payments,” commenting
on the incident later.

*You know you are not in Nigeria and everyone who lives in Germany knows that it is a crime to enter any form of transport without having a ticket...it is an even bigger crime as a foreigner not to have your National ID card or any form of valid identification which authorises your stay in the Country.

This man had none of both and the way he was struggling not to be controlled by the law there was no way he would have been let off...I do not encourage that he was dragged but he could have avoided this by submitting himself for search which would have been the next line as he didnt have cash or an ID on him......

I have seen the same Situation play out with a Black man once when i took the Under ground,he submitted his ID and his details was copied and he was let go.

Once you resist anything that has to do with the law,you are REMOVED..has nothing to do with colour.

Most people travel with their Nigerian mentality and think they can force the system they are used to in Nigeria on a system they meet in the new Country,I have seen it happen many times.

You all crying racism should stop it...if this same situation plays out in Nigeria, the Police will probably shoot this man..

When you are in Rome,Obey their laws and stay out of trouble......or you are sent back straight to your Country where the Law 'works' for you...

    1. The guy is just unlucky! I have been in a sky train and watched a black guy been questioned for his ticket not id card! He didn't have a ticket and while he was pleading, a white guy next to me, got up and handed a ticket to the black guy! And that was the end of the matter. I have been in a bus, where the bus stopped to pick people at the bus stop, there was an elderly woman who didn't have bus pass or money and she begged the bus driver for ride, the bus driver allowed her in, even gave her a ticket so I believe that guy was so unlucky! That's why I love North America! Kind folks!forgive my typos please!

  2. If he didn't have money to buy a ticket, he should have walked. No matter how long it would have taken, he would have arrived at his destination. Let's just hope he isn't an alien

    2. Anonymous 20:57 first, how many states are in Nigeria? Not everybody on this blog lives in Lagos state, hope you're aware? Secondly, if people in cross river state can trek from Calabar-Itu bridge to the Centre of Calabar, I don't see what distance can't be trekked. Problem with our generation is laziness. You're stuck in traffic and it's possible you could reach your journey faster on foot but we'll still sit our behinds down in a commercial vehicle. That said, back to the subject. There are different stops at intervals. Even our rail system have stops at various places. It's like having bus stops and getting off when you get to your stop. It could have been he was just going to the next stop or his stop is at the end of that leg of the trip. Be wise and think before you speak. See as I waste time dey answer nameless pesin

  10. Using public transport without a ticket attracts a fine so it is compulsory to have a ticket at all times. Nigerians disobey the law and scream racism or tribalism when it doesn't go their way.If he knew he didn't have money then he would have applied to social services for help, he has succeeded in putting himself in more trouble because he will surely be deported if he doesn't have his papers or when he goes to renew them. Ticketing officers are not smiling here and they sometimes do this raid with police accompanying them because of lawless people like this.

  12. The same thing I said. They keep distracting Nigerians everywhere. If you don't have a ticket, don't go on the bus or train. The most annoying thing is they will be claiming right.

  14. If I hear racism...when some Nigerians don't even like each other and the hatred is just out of this world, yet we expect foreigners to treat us like gods. Yinmu!

  15. STELLA THANK YOU FOR THIS FACT. GOD BLESS YOU. EVEN MY SISTER THAT CAME TO VISIT ME IN VIENNA FOR JUST THREE MONTHS HAVE HER MONTHLY TICKET IN HAND ALWAYS. IM SO ASHAMED AT THE WAY THIS NIGERIANS REPRESENT US IN EUROPE EH. JUST UNFAIR. AND IMAGINE THE GUY CLINGING TO THE TRAIN WHEN ALL HE HAD TO DO WAS GET OFF AND TAKE THE NEXT TRAIN. HE MIGHT EVEN BE LUCKY THAT THE NEXT TRAIN WOULD NOT HAVE CONTROL.
THIS WAS DEFINITELY NOT RACISM. JUST IGNORANCE AND STUPIDITY COMBINED

  17. It was totally wrong of the man to enter transport without ticket. He is even lucky. If its London, dt will be a ticket to nigeria as the police will be called in and if no identification then immigration. The ticket officers were very kind to him sef. Its as if its a curse that we must break the law everywhere we go. Na wa.

  20. Spoke to the train company and called them from the UK. They confirmed they were shocked themselves and the action does not represent Germany or third staff. The person confirmed that both staff have been sacked. They started that they were not police officers and normally where a passenger refuses to adhere to instructions, the transport police are called who then arrest the person for obstructing public services etc and resisting arrest and instructions.

  21. In as much as the guy did wrong, the police officers were TOTALLY wrong with the approach. You said a Nigerian police officer would have shot him for resisting arrest. That's not true. Only the silly drunk ones will do that. All I'm saying is they would have handled it in a different way.

    1. Thank you so much for your comment. They are not police officers but ticket inspectors. I don't know how it works in Germany but here in the U.K., it's the duty of the police to enforce arrest.

  25. Having a German passport doesn't make a German, however u look at it. It's the duty of the checkers to alert the police and the police will handle the man from the next stop. This is pure racism, why are they being investigated if what u put up here is right? Now ur sheeple in daddy freeze voice are saying Stella sad it all. Mtcheeeew, u are not the only only one who stays in Europe abeg.

  26. I almost cried watching dat video. I can't deal with people molesting other people. Thanks anon 21:52 for that info. I pray they face the law for dragging that man like that. No matter what violence is never an option.

  27. The incident is rather unfortunate. But I trust myself, I don't like wahala. If I don't have money for ticket, I would abort the journey. Germans don't joke with this ticket matter. They buy tickets religiously even when there is no control.
