  2. So true. But why do most people do that?

Why should a customer order for something.. And you give the customer another thing entirely

It's not good for the goodwill of your business

More often than not, you get what you paid for. Also, most of the women are larger than the originals. You can't cheat a tape rule!

  3. Hehehehehehehe

    I'm in tears!!!!
But sometimes the body type matters too
Don't go ordering clothes that you saw on Kim Kardashian while you look like Eniola Badmus
It just doesn't work that way.

And am I the only one that doesn't like sewing native?
If it's not for aso-ebi you can't find me on traditional attires
I can count my natives and they're not more than 5.

  5. This shit is always funny. People should get that there is a difference between a tailor and a fashion designer. I don't go passed my boundary, when I have a style I want to sew I take it to my tailor and ask her repeatedly if she can sew it. Luckily, she is honest and once she can't she tells me no but she'd do something similar In her own way. You'd carry a Vera Wang design to Iya Bidemi or obioma to sew, then blame yourself o.

Tailors. Getting a good tailor that is also efficient is a huge challenge. It's easier to make a first class from MIT than it is to get a tailor that listens sews well and keeps to deadlines.

I can never forget my prom dress. Years ago and it still hurts. The lady who was a church member we were trying to patronise said she felt that the dress should not be sleeveless so she made "Godly" corrections to it. I wanted to die. Eventually my mum had to get me a ready made dress from a boutique but we couldn't find anything with the wow factor. I cried that day and she ruined my prom. I could not pepper all those people I planned to pepper.

Mrs Felicia who has a daughter named Nancy that has a tailoring outfit in surulere and attends a redeemed church in magodo. Just know time has not healed this wound you caused.

  23. I can never order dresses from the internet, except its known shops like Zara, Next, M&S and the rest. If it doesn't fit well, I can atleast return.
But you go and order a wedding dress from China for $100 with no forwarding address. pls what are you expecting ????
You cant order wedding dress from like Galia fadh in Dubai and get that garish wedding gown. If you want quality be ready to spend money. If not manage what you see here, we actually have Naija designers that are really trying in wedding dresses, dinner gowns etc. And some are reasonable.

  32. Happened to me last month. Ordinary jacket oh, showed her samples, she affirmed that she could get it done. Two days later, what I saw broke my heart. I had to change my attire for the wedding, still not funny.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Really πŸ˜„πŸ˜„πŸ˜„. I've experienced worse sef. My problem with them is that they will always agree that they can do it. Then later they will give you opposite. Imagine your wedding dress not being ready on your wedding day. Nigerian tailors cannot make heaven o πŸ˜„.

    ReplyDelete
  34. And they will look you in the eyes and say they can sew it!
This is bad. I've been there.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Only God knows if there's a switch in their heads, that goes off and on.
You get a new tailor and she's bam. You feel good and think at last, am settled with tailor ish.

Then you get an expensive material and give to them, you will to start to blame yourself when you see the outcome.

    There's no heaven for tailors.

  36. Dont let me start my story in the hands of carpenter turned tailors.

The reason why I went for training in fashion designing. Now, I can make some styles for parties when chanced to do so.

  37. This is so so funny. I can't laff...... Big disaster
