    2. This thing she wrote about is all true. Go to thses assistant pastors houses most don't even have chairs. They go about looking for people to pay accommodation and sch fees for them. It's really sad and the funny thing is they can't complain. I know quite a number of them.

    3. Christ embassy is no 1
Branch pastors are owing.. I know one personally. They have to remit every tithe and offering but are tasked to grow the church from nothing.
      This is totally wrong.
I remember my pastor years back in Kumasi. He was a prince.from Delta state.. I think Asaba. Can't rem his name. They kept chasing us from one venue to the other cos we couldn't pay!!!!
Last last he was sleeping in the security guard room. He suffered in Ghana. I don't know what became of him.cos I.lost touch after I left Christ embassy. Pastor Gbuyi from sapele was the head pastor in Kumasi then. Chai that young ma suffered.
Christ embassy look into this pls! Not fair!

    4. You are very correct, the pastor in my sisters school keeps depending on them for everything, they even forced 5copies of a particular book on her and after two days started calling her for the money, isn't it better for the pastor to break out and start his own, which kind suffer head be this

    6. Did the pastor complain to you? If not then maybe he believes in what he is going thru. Why not tend to your own and leave the pastor with his own

  2. So church is truely a business where you invest little and get much out?

  3. I wonder who God calls. These ones called God and not God called them into the ministry.

If you are called by God, you wont think of help from man but from God.

I pity people who patronise una ooo.

Redeemed church they are guilty of this, i am sure

  6. Lol @ 'you haven't yet blocked me, you must be a lover of truth' . Her rant makes a lot of sense especially the part about "settling' a pastor that has served in your ministry for years and wants to leave. Such pastor shouldn't go empty handed even if he's leaving to start his own ministry.

  7. She should be referring to her general overseer. I wonder if it's on social media their contract was signed that she is bringing her complaints here.

  9. Eucharia and her famous eyebrows. I miss her acting though I plan to see a recent movie she acted alongside mercy Johnson on Irokotv. I love how she'd wear trousers underneath her bubu attires and keep holding on to the wrapper same way Sola shobowale does.
Doing the work of the ministry is not easy and honestly pastors are human too and not magicians. They need incentives to survive and manna won't literally fall from heaven. That's why you'd see pastors Manning new branches acting like beggars, always asking members to contribute for one thing or thing while on the other hand these members are in church looking to be blessed. I attend a very small branch too and I get where she is coming from. From the way the ministers dress you'd see their struggles but they can't kuku carry plate and start begging. That's why if your role as a minister allows you have a job on the side, do not abandon it. I know pastors who work in corporate organisation's too.

  10. Nonsense. Imagine this one dabbling into church matter? That tell religion is a money making venture. Someone even caller her mother, like a spiritual mother or what ? Many people going to church will not smell heaven, if ever it's real.

Is this woman trying to say that these daddy GO's also give their pastors targets just like my bank? Are these pastors marketers like me?
So all these "pay your tithe"they pastor always overpreach In my church is because they are also under pressure to increase their tithes and offerings to their headqtrs?
if this is the case, then I now believe those who say that church is a business and money making venture . I am very disappointed.
But then that serves me right. I was born a Catholic. It's time to go back to my roots.
    Smh really. This is sad

    1. Yes,to your question. They remit certain amounts whether they like it or not. Church is an ORGANISATION!Reason, they emphasis on tithes and offerings! They respect only the tithers and sowers! They do anything in their power to attract members. Why is it different in other religions? My uncle is a pastor, his daughter told me,if the overseer is coming to their branch for visiting or preaching,a long list will be sent to them to fulfi, which they MUST obey!

  20. Many are called but, few are chosen.
Most churches in Nigeria and all over the world are corporate businesses.

They all care about earthly wealth and riches. I don't do church fanatic, I've seen and witness a lot that happens in churches.

I have the sword which is the word, I don't need no religious gathering headed by one man who must be seen as a minigod.

Aunty Eucharia, tread carefully. We know you're saying the truth.

  21. In the words of David Cho "in every city, town and community there are church building yet the spirit of the worshipers have become empty and void".

  23. You've said it all Eucharia.

I know of a pastor who left the "biggest church" in Nigeria for the same reason.
His grouse was they keep sending him to remote villages/town to plant a new parish without a dime and all offerings and tithe is expected to be remitted to the headquarters.
After all the struggle and the parish becomes established, he will be transferred again to plant a new parish while all the big ones stays at the headquarters and Lagos.

It's well with religion in Nigeria.

  26. I once saw this woman face-to-face at Egbeda in Lagos State. I must confess that she is a beauty to behold. Much more beautiful in real life than in pictures. That said, Madam, you have spoken the truth. Pastors need financial support too.

  27. This happened in my former church too. But the church fought with the headquarters that if they remove the man after suffering to plant the church and put someone else to come and enjoy his sweat, that their will be no church for the new one to come to. They left the pastor for just two years and sent him to a worst place to start again. But the GO's children that are pastors too are only send to big churches in the city. I left the church after the pastor left because that's not Christianity.

  28. We continue to mistake personal inspirational/psychology churches as Christianity or religion. This is the on-going method of ripping people off in the name religion. If you know your God and are sincere and open to Him, your prayers or needs will be met by him. Have anyone of ever wondered how the early Christians lived compared to our mundane-neo-paganistic-Christianity, where we place the pastor above the Word of God. Where everyone with a Bible can form a ministry or church under the influence of fowl spirits of greed and wickedness? How did first Christians live? Who did the Apostles call and handover to? Do we know that any form of Christianity that cannot be traced back Apostles and to Christ cannot be authentic. That is why history and scripture will support the Catholic Church's position and how the true church is govern and calls her ministers.

  29. She has made a great and valid point,,, these GOs really need to look at their Pastors welfare

  30. God bless rccg, every parish opened under our province ll be equipped, the rent Or land paid for by the head church pending when they new church is capable of taking care of herself

    ReplyDelete
  31. The situation is the same in RCCG. RCCG does not assist new parishes in any way. The new parishes have to struggle on their own to find their feet. Accepted there is a period of grace before the commencement of remittance of tithes and offerings to the Head quarters but when you recall that the average new parish would have the Pastor, his wife and two or three workers as members at take-off, then you realise that the period of grace amounts to nothing. It is for this reason that new parishes are often closed down a few months after. RCCG does not need new parishes - it needs to consolidate the existing ones to make them viable. In my parish at commencement, all members were levied to raise money to build the church, buy chairs, furnish the Pastor's office... the list goes on and on. The parish was made up of only five families. That was in 2010. Today the parish is made up of four families following the death of one of the members. Is that church growth?

  32. She spoke the gospel truth. It's one thing if you are a young minister single with no wife or children, but should the young minister feed his family with a stone? Here in the abroad ministers have a salary, even the choir director gets paid. If pastor don't eat where is the strength going to come from to do the work? God has 8 billion souls to attend to on the planet, why not help Him out by freeing up his time to deal with real heavy duty issues, instead of a young pastor have to be in constant vigil to get a slice of bread. Free up the spirit of God to help ppl with real needs by giving the pastor a salary. God is not our slave or servant to be at our constant beck and call for things we have the power to resolve easily, and to be held hostage by man-made religion. Free up the spirit of God!!!

  33. She made some valid points. Most GOs use their pastors to enrich their deep pockets without caring about the welfare of those generating the funds. Well since the church has become a business centre I support that they should restructure the system and draw out a contract between the GOs and the workers. They should be paid salaries and benefits like every other workers in the corporate world. Afterall working in the church is their full time jobs. They also ve needs, bills and responsibility. The GOs should stop brainwashing them by telling them they should work wholeheartedly without expecting payment/compensation from man, that they are working for God and their reward is in heaven bla bla bla... they should stop the hypocrisy cause it is disgusting.
