I've never been pregnant but I think I feel like she does when I'm on my period. She'd be fine but pillows help.

Jasmine said...

She's having trouble turning from one side to another?

I think it's the way she talks. She needs to learn properly.

Stellz' it's not funny at all. To think I have to sleep with a pillow in between laps, ouch! Turning from right to left vice versa is the most difficult task. With my 1st princess I did not experience these uneasiness, but loving it epsecially when I feel kicks and jabs....lol

Asin enh, she should forget sleep for th rest of her life, I used to love sleeping on my right when pregnant and up until now I have cramps on that leg when I sleep on it for too long, it's not easy, you can't sleep on your back, sides seem so difficult, I use like 5 pillows when sleeping ..,, Mehn I don't envy any pregnant woman right now

Its not easy.I am in my 36th Week now turning on my side is big problem. What I do is to put a pillow in between my legs and support myself with another one around my arms. Anyone facing such discomforts can get a maternity pillow as well, they are designed for such discomfort.

It is really not easy!!! This is my first pregnancy and i always turn every night. If i sleep on my left side the baby goes and rests there and starts kicking which gives me cramps on my left leg. If i turn to the right, same thing happens after about 30 mins. That is how i have been for 2 weeks now. It is really not easy but the whole experience is totally worth it. I am not complaining.

Sleep ke? You are just starting my dear sister....just sit and sleep when you can't turn left and right again.naso e dey,I don't want to remember this for now. Ooooooooooo

Mhzzbee int'l said...

And you visit the toilet many times πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. Motherhood is sweet but stressful.

Safe delivery!!!

I am also in my 36th week, the turning from side to side no be beans o,getting up now, that one Na story for another day.i am just counting down

AGELESS T said...

Babes no be the same feeling o. Menstrual cramps and pregnancy discomforts are golfs apart. No matter how bad your cramps are, it's just 5 days. Imagine carrying 10 litres of petrol strapped on your tummy and you have to carry it about? Mine is so bad, cos I always have pendulous stomach(long and heavy). If I lie on a side and want to turn, I have to lift my heavy stomach with my two hands to turn to the other side in my 3rd trimester. I sit to sleep most times. So just don't go there.

AGELESS T said...

Jasmine, Jasmine, Jasmine!!!

How many times did I call you? Your time is coming, say Amen.

AGELESS T said...

My dear your PCV @33 is not so bad. I've been on 30 before. But pls try and eat. Pls do. Lick menthol sweets or gums, they improve appetite.

Safe delivery.

AGELESS T said...

Lol, you can't o.

Safe delivery.

Anonymous said...

Yea i dont eat too, i only drink pepsi, suya and egg, but my blood level is ok, my weight 60kg close to delivery 65. the only thing that shows im pregranant is the tummy, feet, nose same as before, skin clear, energy 100%. which i can always be pregnant

A-Girl-Has-No-Name said...

Hmmmm. Pls don't compare both situations, that's a lot of weight she's carrying, the discomfort can't be compared at all.

Booboo kitty said...

Awwwwwn... Why does your comment make me all warm nd fuzzy inside? Lol.

DoppelgΓ€nger said...

Ageless T, I'm not comparing both o that's why I said I've never been pregnant but I experience what she explained when I'm on my period and no I bleed for more than 5days so I know what I'm saying.
A-Girl-Has-No-Name, I know.

Push up, na play play you still dey do. When baby comes no sleeping again oooo.
Ageless R, Serena go dey alright and sabi say no be tennis court she dey soon. Na lifetime and continuous match. But she will get plenty Nanny's sha

Anonymous said...

Doppelganger, don't compare at all. 2 totally different situations oooo.
That one ure experiencing is just 1% of pregnancy discomfort.
Serena never even start to deal with heartburn that comes third trimester; that heartburn is killing.
I wish her safe delivery.

Anonymous said...

No mind Jasmine, she thinks its bread and butter. Thank GOD say you be woman and will soon experience it, when heartburn joins third trimester and ure awake almost all through the night praying for the baby to come.

Anonymous said...

Make she endure? Abi make she dey warm up cos when baby comes no more sleep oooo, she better enjoy her sleeeeeeeep now.

Anonymous said...

That remaining 4weeks will be like a year but once you put to bed they grow really fast but just be prepared for more sleepless nights.
Rest and sleep all you can now before baby arrives.

Anonymous said...

Lol, I feel you my dear

Sabali said...

While pregnant I hated to sleep sideways cause normally I sleep with my belly facing the bed.It was the most difficult thing to do seriously.

Calm Down.

Anonymous said...

She should buy that big 9/feet pregnancy pillow. It helps you not need to turn too much

lovely heart said...

hahaha. but if i decide to take that your child away from you, you will rather give your life up than to see that happen...that love is what rocks

Anonymous said...

Lol not a funny something....as at 30 weeks pregnant with my twins turning on the bed was hell..plus I had this pain in my right wrist that started during the pregnancy...my hubby had to use rub and massage it almost everyday...the pain disappeared after I put to bed...I also had restless leg syndrome. Your keg would be itchy, like ants biting you inside but you can't even say the point where it starts or ends...pregnancy and it's numerous drama..just get pregnancy pillow and take your time to turn or move...
