SDK Enugu BVs Charity Dinner.
Good day Dear BV's
I hosted the sdk scrabble hangout of last year and sent in some pictures and updates on how it went. We also escorted BV Viola for the Motherless Babies home visit on valentine’s day of last year. I’m the one who also does the yearly a exams sponsorship through Stella.
I’ve gotten to know a lot of BVs within and around. So we have been think-tanking with the idea of our own (enugu) BVs activity in line with Stella's spirit of reaching out to people and helping. We think we can do something about it, as Abuja and lagos and Edo/Delta have had or are planning their get together, we have something in mind but not a party.
We would like to host an SDK Enugu BVs Charity Dinner.
Elegant, corporate and formal. It will be about donating of food, books, cloths and household items to the less privileged, we will invite them on that day and also raise funds for small projects that they present to us. There will be a few dance or entertainment presentations, dinner, dance, talks (testimonies and jokes) and a couple of other stuff. Pictures too.
The idea is to raise a little awareness and cooperation from BVs. In a few days we will send a Whatsapp group link for BVs who would like to participate in the organization and planning in any capacity. It’s not really a small project so we will need all the help we can get and we will be practical about it. Even if it’s not huge, it will be nice and beautiful.
After the BVs join the Whatsapp group, I’ll make a presentation of the plan and how we can achieve it.
It is slated for September so that we can have it properly done and raise enough items for donations.
If you have any suggestions or plans or tips, I am very welcome to it.
