    2. Really good lawyers would not throw case out of court completely if he was really committing jailable offences and crimes. This isn't Nigeria where you can claim that he "settled" somebody or that "powerful" persons backed him up. He would have at least had some sort of reduced punishment or jail term if it was proven that he was in any way involved. Also, if he had the kind of money to pay such "good" lawyers who can completely get charges like that thrown out of court, he wouldn't have needed to use stolen credit cards and commit such crimes to start with
