IPOB Withdraws Threat To Disrupt Anambra poll

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has withdrawn its threat to disrupt the November 18 governorship election in Anambra state.

According to Channels Television, the decision was reached after the Ala-Igbo International Foundation, a non-governmental organisation, held a meeting with Nnamdi Kanu, leader of IPOB, in Owerri, Imo state capital.

Uzodinma Nwala, a professor of philosophy and leader of the foundation, told reporters that after much deliberations, IPOB gave the assurance that it will not disrupt the November 18governorship election.

Kanu had said the November 18 governorship election in Anambra would not hold if the federal government fails to conduct a referendum on Biafra.

At the meeting, Kanu reportedly said IPOB is not a violent group and also promised to consult with the group’s leadership concerning tthe boycott order.

“I came because of my respect for elders. IPOB is not a violent group. We are law-abiding citizens of the society,” he said.

“What we discuss here today will guide us in the issue of Anambra election. I will go and meet with the leadership of IPOB.”

  1. What sort of civil right is he even fighting for if what he does is incite unemployed and war ignorant youths. Where exactly does his family live? Are they comfortable in England far from the discomfort and risk faced by these young agitators? Does he identify as Igbo or Jewish? What compensation has been paid so far to the family of the people that have died fighting for this cause? Even the families that fought with ojukwu are all unknown and unsung. Let's thread carefully and not confuse ourself. Ndi Aro Oke Igbo si na "Ako bu ije".

    1. They need to clear his doubt and humble him so that if he ever makes it out of prison, he will run to the UK. I don't know why human beings are so gullible, bowing and worshipping this unstable looking cretin.
