LABOUR ROOM DRAMA 194

This is what I call DRAMA!!!!

My LRD goes thus.

Took in 2months after our wedding. Apart from the malaria I had in the first month, my pregnancy days were stressfree.

My edd was on the 23rd of february which came and went. I was so desperate and anxious so to say. 23rd came and went. The Dr. Said I would be induced by my next visit if labour doesn't come.

I have heard stories of induction and prayed for a natural labour. At exactly 41weeks three days after my last clinic, I went into labour without notice. It was so spontaneous and happened so fast. Was sitting in the room with DH at around 10:00pm when contraction started.

It was mild that I overlooked it. By the next hour, it got intense. That was when I realised I was in labour. The contraction intensified that I couldn't sleep till around 5:00am when we left for the hospital. Got to the hospital was checked and I was 7cm gone.

At the peak of d contraction, I knelt on my knees and was screaming nurse as against Jesus that I was screaming before. The nurse asked me to get up that they don't allow such. I didn't even listen to her. It was a general hospital.

When I could no longer bear the pain, I climbed the labor bed and beckoned on the nurse. To cut a long story short, when I climbed the bed all by myself, I lost control of my lower region. The pressure was so much. The nurse was just loitering. I had to scream for her to give me attenttion.

She checked me and said she could see the baby's head. I was asked to push if I feel contraction. At that point, Contraction seized. The nurse was now murmurin( na dis kind thing I no dey like, e don reach time to push contraction don seize).

Finally, contraction came and I pushed and my princess flew out at once. The nurse was not even concentrating as she was eager to sign-out and handover to her colleague for morning shift. I was left with severe perineal lacerations. The drama started after my princess came.

I was bleeding from the laceration. The nurse couldn't suture me guess she is an amateur. And no doctor was around at the moment (7:00Am). Luckily for me, a more experienced nurse came. I was sutured for over 2hours. Was screaming and wailing. Had multiple tears down to the rectum. The pain na die.

It was more severe than labor pain walahi. Despite the anasthetia, the pain was second to none. Infact the pain was worse than the labour pain. I thank God I have healed well. Really scared of gbenshing ooo...just battling baby weight.....We are just 5months. Pix for your eyes only as usual.....

*Jesus, you took all the way to the back?my dear sorry oh...you can go ahead and gbensh na,nothing dey happen!
