Missing Man Found With A Black Eye And Deep Cuts On His Body...

Mr Ogbonnayah Charles Omeka was found yesterday in Apapa after he went Missing for some days.....

Stella the son said his dad was wandering up and down and he kept on talking to people but he wasn't coherent, times when he was, he asked for his way home but he couldn't tell anyone where he lives.

To tell you how bad and wicked people can be, on Wednesday a guy called my friend and said he had info about his dad but he wasn't going to tell my friend anything yet, but would call him yesterday by 11am to tell my friend where to meet him.

Truecaller revealed that the guy was a 419-er who probably wanted to extort them.

His sister called him yesterday morning to say some people called to say they were bringing their dad home, dude thought it was the same 419 people until he got to where they were and saw his dad. His dad was unkempt (as expected) and had deep cuts and bruises on his body, with a black eye, like he was attacked or in a fight, he's diabetic and has dementia but he was able to be stabilised, immediately he saw my friend he got better and asked after his daughter in law and grandson...

There's still hope for Nigeria, good people saw him coming out of a building where he probably went to ask questions or so and stopped him. They couldn't understand anything he was saying, but they bought food for him. They tried lodging him for the night in a hotel but he was rejected, tried a hospital, he was rejected but they managed to keep him with them till the following morning.

They bought akara and pap with soft drinks too for him, before Calling my friend to come meet them on the way to his house...

He was taken to a hospital close to his house, and he's okay now...
Thank you again Stella...

Praise God that he was found but i wonder who would be so wicked as to pump an old man like this in the eyes...And the deep cuts?I shiver thinking of how that came about.....Thank God he is safe!

  2. This is sad and it hits close to home. So glad he was found, please watch him closely. Our old parents like to walk around forgetting they are no longer young.

    1. Very sad. Old people are like babies. One has to constantly keep am eye on them. I wonder who would have the mind to hurt an innocent old man. People have no conscience anymore. I'm glad he was returned home alive.

    2. Dementia or/and Alzheimer's is real! What strength do old people have to do waka waka! It's our turn to watch over them like they did when we were vulnerable.

    3. Dementia is one of the big reasons oyinbo people put their parents in care homes- not because they don't love them but because old people with dementia need care and monitoring 24/7.

Free advise- someone who wants to make money, someone in the medical field needs to set a reputable care home up in Nigeria.

  5. There are still good people in this world.

God bless those who took care of him, I am really impressed.

For that extortionist, dementia will be his portion if he does not repent. Isi Aki😤😤😤😤

    1. He has dementia which causes memory loss amongst other things. Most likely he took a walk and forgot his way home and was later attacked by miscreants. Thank God he is back home.

  8. Oh God. Thank you very much.

I just knew he had those old people's sickness. Thank God for bringing him safe. I dont think the cut must have been a fight but I still thank God for his life.

  9. Oh, poor Daddy, thank God. There is still hope for Naija, may God bless the family who kept him. Thank God they did not accuse him of being a wizard & beat him up.

Please people, recognize when our elders starts forgetting, don't sleep at night, gets confused especially in the evenings (it is called sundowning), sometimes calling their older kids as if they were still young children, it is a sign of dementía.
Do not leave them alone, they might wonder away. Let's avoid stories that touch.

  10. Lesson to us all...dont be quick to call an old man or woman a witch. he/ she may have loss of memory and lost. this is always my thought when i see so called "witches" being beaten

  13. I remember when my grandma wandered off like this too.

What a traumatic night...Thank God she was found and she lived 8 more years after.

Thank God this man was found too, Stella, it's probably all this people who think all old people are witches/wizards that tried to beat him up.

I wonder if they think they would ever grow old themselves.

  14. Honestly, this is becoming too rampant
Almost everyday I see reports of old people missing.
Please of your old people are suffering from dementia or any other disease and you do not have the time to closely monitor them. They send them to the village, or take them to than old people's home.
And yes they do have them in Lagos.
    Please.
