President Buhari Will Not Resign...

President Muhammadu Buhari has declared that he will not resign as the country’s leader despite mounting pressure from some Nigerians.

Buhari said his actions have not gone contrary to the country’s constitution. The president spoke yesterday against the backdrop of a protest in Abuja over his continued stay in London.

The protesters led by Charles Oputa a.k a Charley Boy marched from the Unity Fountain to the Presidential Villa, where they demanded that Buhari should either return to the country and resume duties or resign immediately.

"The President has handed over power to the vice president as required by the constitution and the vice president is carrying out the affairs of this country.

He is undertaking activities of government in line with the constitution in a way that the president himself has given words of commendation.

So, the president has not breached any law. What he has done is perfectly in line with the constitution and people are looking for things to say. I think they should do their research very well, SSA to the President on Media and Publicity said".

  3. Wow! 👏👏👏I must die on top of it syndrome. We can never be great when we are selfish and don't think of the next person. There's still a limit to what the VP can do else he could have upturned a lot of unfavorable policies the president put in place. But what do I know?
