Those of you who swallow in the mornings, repent now!..lol
Back home I used to LOOOOVE hot uncooked eba and Okro sauce for breakfast....or fried eggs and plantain,Omo forget this Coffee and bread brouhaha i now take every morning!

Enjoy your Breakfast or Mid morning snack.

  13. The conventional custard is made from corn starch.
The last time I had custard was in the boarding school.
Every Saturday morning, we'd dissolve our custard powder with water in a bowl, and run down to the refectory, then line up and wait for the matrons to bring us hot water to make it.
Sometimes after waiting for so long at the queue, before it gets to your turn the hot water is finished.very frustrating.I used to wonder then why hot water had to be a luxury for us since we were banned from having any form of cooking equipment.
    Ahhh..memories!

    2. Sexy daddy one of these days, all the cows who's legs you've eaten will line up and wait for you at your doorstep with one leg each. Then once you emerge from your house they'll demand you just eat the 2nd leg altogether at once so you'll accomplish your mission by making them 'legless' 😂😂😂. Just riwacha Cow leg inu?

No, custard is not the dried version of pap.

  36. Custard is dry white starch extracted from maize and processed by adding artificial flavours, salt, sugar and yellow colouring. Only difference it is dry, akamu is wet. Na d same Mama born dem.
People don't like it because of the aroma from the Sunset Yellow Colouring they add. The aroma for some is uhhhhhh!

You can buy the pinkish Gold's Strawberry Flavored Custard in White plastic bucket. It's like taking creamy ice cream. I make home made Akamu myself but I still stock buckets of custard, there are visitors you don't serve Akamu. Hahaha.
And some of my kids prefer custard. So we're good.

Amanda Favour...saw your question last weekend. Yes Limca drinks are still available. Same content. The company had management issues and Coca Cola bought them over(check the bottle cover). I substitute anytime I'm missing my Emene palm wine, I pour them into a big jug, chill and drink away but I've received my Obilidike aka na ani on Thursday afternoon. So bye to Limca for now.

    Happy weekend people.
