NIGERIAN IMMIGRATION

Good Afternoon Stella,

I hope this email finds you well. I am not sure were this email belong but i am deeply upset! It was brought to my attention that Immigration office in Benin City, Edo state do not have paper to print passport. To obtain a passport my brother says he has to travel to Abuja with his wife and new born child to Abuja. I mean, the expenses of travelling and the safety issue of travelling that long distance by road with a baby is ridiculous. Please could you please bring this to the attention of those in charge. Also, could someone verify if one can obtain a passport in Delta state.

Thanks

Mama Tee Series

THE UNDERCOVER BLOG VISITOR

Hello blog fam, I'm sorry for the long break. Na Buhari cause am. Lol.

Going through the Lagos party pictures, I saw a lady who looked so much like an SDK bv whom I met sometime ago at an interview, the only difference was that the person I saw in the pix was darker and shorter than my former sdkbv friend (it might actually be the same person, the little difference may have been caused by Buhari) hahahaha.

The interview was for a job position advertised in the comment section of one of the job posts on this blog early this year. On getting to the venue, I saw about five people seated already even though I got there 30mins earlier. I greeted them and took my seat beside one gentle looking lady. You see, I had quickly scanned the faces I saw seated at the reception that day and believe me, they all looked like sdkbvs. Hehehehe.
So me and Aunty got talking after the usual initial 'forming' lols.

Me: this place is a big company o
Lady: yes, it's quite big
Me: I pray they pay well
Lady: (laughed) pray they employ you first
Me: (laughed) so how did you get to know about this vacancy?
Lady: (with a straight face) I saw it on a job site
Me: Really? what is the name of the site pls?
Lady: what about you? How did you know about it?
Me: (with a serious face) A friend told me
Lady: Where did she tell you she got the info from?
Me: She told me she got it online, I didn't ask her the name of the site.
Lady: I got mine from Jobberman
Me: Wow! So Jobberman posts real vacancies after all
Lady: Yes, as a matter of fact, this is my fourth interview this month, last month, I attended 6 interviews and I saw all the vacancies on jobberman.
Me: And you are still job hunting? Hmmmm. Odiegwu o

She gave me a cursory look. Hahahaha. I just 'lock up' and started pressing my phone. What is my own? She was hiding herself so I wouldn't know she was an sdkbv and I also played along. I do bad thing?
After the interview, we exchanged BB pins and promised to keep each other posted on any new vacancy. One day, I used that Stella's 'side eye' dog's face as my BBM display picture, aunty chatted me up and told me she liked it, she then asked where I got it from. I told her I got it from google. Kikikikiki.

Some of us have had this kind of encounter with an obvious sdk blog visitor before, yeah?

Unfortunately, I later lost her contact when I lost the phone where I had her bb pin.
Aunty 'Jobberman', if you are reading this, I didn't block you o, I lost my phone with your pin.

Mama Tee

LMAO!!....

IYA IBJEI SERIES
MICHAEL JACKSON

From when I can remember I have always loved Michael Jackson. He was my first crush and oh I have had many others over the years.  One time I was liking MJ's nephews 3T.  Then I fell in love with Telvin Campbell. I had a thing for Louis figo, Steven Gerrard oh I liked Gerrard for a long time but I always came back to MJ.

When he had that first case of s§xual molestation I was very young then I heard the story but didn't understand it.  I asked my dad to explain but you know Naija parents to discuss s§x with me was an issue he sha said something like some people said Michael tried to hurt a little boy.
I was like Michael is too soft spoken he can't even hurt a fly. Or was it when he got a Rwanda nanny and rumor had it that they were dating and she left I was like I wish God would just connect us.  I just felt I was the only one that could make him happy.

Then on June 25 2009 I remember vividly it rained cats, dogs, elephants and hippopotamus. I had a hard time getting to work after entering about 3 buses I still found myself at Ajegunle, everywhere was blocked I asked how to get to the island. They said I should board  a ferry. I said me Ferry? I almost started crying, me that can't swim even for dry weather sef I never enter talk more of now that's raining.

I sha maneuver until I got to the island.

I was late, wet, tired and dirty. And just as I got to my desk thinking my day couldn't get any worse my colleague slam a newspaper on my desk with a bold headline that Michael Jackson was Dead.
Kai I fell to my seat and tears rolled down. My MJ?  Why him? I haven't even met him in real life. Why was today so bad?

I mourned Michael Jackson for days and read every article on him and the cause of his death.  Drug overdose I also read up on how he started abusing drugs.
I realized I had started doing same. Then I used to have trouble sleeping in the day time so I started taking puriton and other cough and catarrh drugs. But after the death of Michael Jackson I made a decision to stop and I stopped.
August 29th was his post posthumous birthday.
Happy belated birthday Michael though we never met you were and would always be my number 1 crush.

The Iya beji 1

I love love love Gerard Levert...

    2. Abeg, these slave riders that advertise jobs on this blog should repent.
How can you pay a HND holder 35k to work "9 to 8:30 pm including Saturdays?"
Will you like your sister or brother to be treated that way?
"Sales Executive indeed"; big empty name.
What about employing a person with SSC to do the sales?
Soon you will bring in a chronicle how you were robbed.
      This is so sad!

  2. Take it from me, when you pray, God Hears you, He listens and He Answers. Even when it seems like things are working against you, be patient, the greater good is coming. Imagine going for a Visa interview on a day that isnt your Appointment and you have been notified that they will be going on Sallah Break so no interview will hold but cos of how desperate you are And how urgent the situation is, you say a silent prayer and take a shot at it. You arent just listened to but your interview holds and unlike days people come and wait from morning till night, you do yours in less than 2hours.... Yes, that's the God i serve, breaking protocols for my sake....πŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒ

  7. Let's talk about the benefits of #hibiscustea popularly known as #zobo drink in Nigeria.

In 2013 I was gifted a pack of hibiscus tea and out of curiosity I googled the health benefits.

The Heath benefits are numerous but let me state a few which includes:
"Relief from high blood pressure & high cholesterol, as well as digestive system, immune system & inflammatory problems." I've seen someone that had cholesterol issues who was taking it along with his medication and today his result is okay.

I like to take mine hot and unflavored but some days i flavor it with pineapple and take it chilled.

Interestingly,it has made its way to parties. The leaves are in our local market and can be reused after brewing. The tea bags are also found in popular stores.

As with other herbs please seek medical advice before taking it if you are on prescription or pregnant.

If you don't have the time to make it then call #Michaaka on 08123480631 to get your tasty #zobo.

  12. I read the chronicle of yesterday this morning but is still surprise at some response of bvs. I always hammer that too many ungrateful people keep sprouting out each day hence the reason most people no longer render help. How someone help you in your need but when it gets to their turn reverse becomes the case, you need not wait to be called out before showing gratitude to the person that helped you except they demand for something beyond your control and this chronicle talked about blood. Some of you really mean you can have your blood kicked out in a hopeless situation like the one here. I believe some of you o yes member were not doing so as a result of Stella's comment, then you are wrong cos she is an all round helper. Please let's quit this mentality of I don't care or don't owe no body attitude cos no matter how rich you think are, someday you will surely need one's help and come to think of it, what if it has to come from that one person maybe your blood you refused help something a go. It's no big deal helping someone in life not to talk of your own blood. Anyone that wants to help that poster should feel free but endeavor to do proper investigation before doing anything makana obim na emem somehow gbasara that chronicle‎

    6. @Eka, it's you of all people they should listen to? LMAO. So 35k monthly to work at Lekki. So imagine the person lives on the mainland, they'd pay transport fare to work or maybe they can trek right? They'd also feed or they can fast right? OND/HND cost money to attain, if it's an internship I would understand but to list these criteria for that sum it's funny and not right. It's because of your type of mentality that employers exploit their employees. Did you even relax to see sales executive there and know that they may end up paying the person based on how much sales they bring in? 35k isn't even fixed. Sales girls earn that amount just sitting behind the counter and collecting money from customers. HND holders please don't short change yourself. On this blog someone has been looking for a driver for how much again? And no one has applied, because no one should waste their time earning peanuts.

      Delete
    7. @D UCH, I am not surprised at all. That is what they do, once you see job title sales executive, you better run because they won't pay you if you don't sell according to target and it would be a new product that would need you to walk the streets until your sole burns. Jobs like that should be given to students awaiting admission into Uni or something not someone who went to school and has a certificate. They are not even permanent, so why waste your time. Don't let anyone deceive you that earning small is better than nothing when you'd end up spending more to earn the peanut.

    8. Don't mind them, modern day slavery. I'm sure the employer wouldn't allow his/her enemy take such offer. We Nigerians are our problem.

    9. What caught my attention was the working hours....9.00am-8.30 pm, Saturday inclusive. My mind travelled back to when I finished Nysc years back...my first job was on the Island. My salary was 15k. Saturday inclusive. Hmmm..every saturday on my way to work, I will just be crying....hmmm. I really thank God for his grace. I hate Saturday work like kilode. Eyes don see!!!

    10. @Eka . It's not just about something at the end for the jobless person, it's about not creating an enabling forum for these modern day exploiters. Long hours, no benefits, no weekends, no concern for transportation/added expenditures. I put it to you that for someone who is jobless and coming from the mainland, he/she will eventually run at a loss. You lose time, money and good health.
This attitude aptly describes the problem with Nigeria. Manage this , manage that when the so called employers are very able to pay more.
They should look for a Donkey or better still a Camel to do the job. Well said Doppel.

      Delete
    11. Kwikwi well said.

Poverty mentality has created an environment for these demon employers to thrive. Imagine someone said manage, manage what exactly?
How anyone will pay a graduate of a Nigerian University, 35k to work 12 hours a day, 6 days a week is beyond me. NOBODY shuld work these hours, it is very very very unhealthy.

Do you think Stella's blog is a slave farm?? Even my security men don't work these hours.

You are a bastard and I spit on you from the depths of my soul. I'm so furious. Honestly you have guts. If you had left a phone number, I would have dealt with you.
      The effing effrontery.
This is all shades of wrong.

Why not put your family member or child there?

How do you expect the person to function well and be productive the next day? As if the hours are not crazy enough, you added sat. Please add Sunday too now so the person can work to death for you.
